How to draw concentric circles using shapes in illustrator drawing

I am on the iPad and try to draw concentric circles from a diameter of 1 cm

the circle of form Adobe seems to have that one size.

am I missing something?

Hello Gita,

The circles in the menu form from raffle can be resized.

When you click a shape, Slide Touch open with her.

Tap one finger (concentric circles) guides to get the shape you want to change (circles, squares and triangles).

Once you see the shape you want, it can be reduced or enlarged by placing your fingers or the other side of the contour and making dragging/pinch.

You can 'stamp' shape on the canvas by double-clicking on the contour (will be described with all that brush you chose).

If you want to change a circle to an oval, when you have the size you want, now pressure on the main lines. Depending on where the sketch you press you will see either a vertical or a horizontal line in the middle of the form. As soon as you see who... Drag. Give it a try.

Hope that helps.

Sue.

Could someone help me with this. It would be highly appreciated if an illustrator file can be provided (via sendspace.com). Ideally, when it was enlarged to 120%, the shape doesn't NOT blur.

  • Text in a concentric circle

    Hello

I am trying to create a wheel similar to the image below except that I need three segments instead of twelve. I also need a few lines of text for each segment, but I'm not sure that the best way to insert it. I tried to use the 'polar grid tool' and using 'Text on path', however, I am not able to type within a segment / arc without the text goes around the circle.

Does anyone have suggestions as to how I can go about this? (I hope that's clear!)

    Thanks in advance

Three groups ar easy once you.

Back to the polar grid tool.

Set it to the desired diameter.

set the radial dividers to 3 and concentric circles on "0".

draw an ellipse size you want the internal diameter must be

align the two using the Align Panel (center vertical and then centered horizontally.)

Select the inner circle and and polar grid object and click on theLive paint bucket tool to turn it into a live paint group

You can fill out any section with any desired shade, including a background or outline of none.

Very easy to do with the live paint group. (Note that I completed the sections of Center with a fill of none).

The text describes earlier if you want to make the curved text and I think you want to do with only the sections tree due to the amount of curve sections require.

You make to concentric circles which will reflect the amount of attack between two text lines that you must ad the size necessary to correctly place
    the sections.

you place these two concentric circles on the cut circle you have done as a live paint group.

    Locks the live paint group

with the scissors tool, cut you concentric circles at the sections radial dividers

then turn them into text paths

then the pair the two in each of the sections by making text son Type > text Thread > Create

Now, type your text for each section. You can do this with two triangles if you want the text to the right

    Concerning

    Bob

Each circle can be made by using the elliptical selection tool and bearing the same numbers of H & W in the Options bar

    Edit > stroke

Place each anywhere in the area of the image, but each on a separate layer

Select all the layers in the layers panel

Use the move tool and in the Options bar, click on the vertical, then horizontal alignment symbols.

Flatten the layers if you wish.

  • How to draw a trace of round clip exactly where you want

I need to put some text bent in this white space where the circle but thin is just at the top.  I know how to draw a circle with the tool path ellipse and then insert the top text tool and enter the text.  What I am having a period very difficult is how to draw this way and re - its size so that fits it exactly where I want to go?  what I do now is that I put the cursor anywhere on the canvas, select the ellipse tool, hold down the SHIFT key for a perfect circle but when I call he's not where I want it. then when I choose the paths, I can not actually move the path to where I want to.

If I go back and move my cursor down on the Board for re - draw the path, I still can't get it wherei like it.

    can anyone help at home.

    sticker.jpg

It isn't really round.  It is slightly flattened vertically.

    In any case...

I have an Action which places the guides at 50% (50pc) vertically and horizontally to give me exactly in the middle of a file image, or you place them manually with view > new Guide.

After doing that I would put the circular select this center point using the keys SHIFT and Alt (Opt) and get it more or less where I wanted.  Then change the selection in a work path.

You can use a manual for remodel transformation and position who work the path by selecting it in the Trace Panel.

Then place your text and if you need tweaking, use free transform again, but on the text layer.

You can also use free transform to reshape the BG graphic to make around it.

  • How to draw marker and ellipses in perspective?

How to draw two ellipses in perspective and in addition the marker on the Center? What are the tools will I need? A tutorial would be very useful. I am beginner in Illustrator.

You could do this with the one-point-point of view in a perspective grid.

Just draw all flat objects and then drag them into the perspective grid.

In order to draw objects, you can dive into the manual.

  • How to create a circle of multiple segment?

    Hi guys,.

I need some advice on how to create a circle segmented as shown in the picture as an attachment. I have it as a jpg, but I want to create it in Illustrator so I could have more control over the parts. For example, while the image shows three segments, I may have to add another in the image (this is the part of a demo of process).

    Advice/help greatly appreciated.

    See you soon

    Carlroundtrip.jpg

    Carl,

You can (all circles are concentric):

    (1) create two circles, indoor and outdoor, and oppose > compound path > make.

    (2) create an auxiliary outside circle, extending outside the extreme parts to make arrows

    (3) create a tip of arrow in the center of the circles; to avoid its pointing outwards (too), you can place its Center (rather than the part which can / base) in the Center.

    (4) move a copy of the arrow by the width of the desired interval, cut to side anchors and remove the base segment (and filling) If you have a path composed of two curved segments.

Movement 5) a copy of 4) at the top of the arrow Tip 3).

6 move 3) 4) and 5), in position with the centre between the two circles (from the average of the rays) and turn all of them as well as the circle auxiliary so that you get all the arrows placed in the right way (120 3, 90 degrees to 4 degrees, etc.).

    (7) hide/remove the auxiliary of the circles,

    (8) hide arrowheads,

    (9) select (Ctrl / Cmd + A) and Pathfinder > divide and remove unneded parts, namely the gaps and the funny thingy in the middle.

Now you have the parts of the circle in a simplified version since they would be without the sides of arrow sticking out (some do),.

    (10) show arrowheads, and then select each with the corresponding part of circle and Pathfinder > unit (or Add to shape area or whatever it is called in your version).

(You can color the parts as desired in connection with 9 arrow/circle) or 10).
