  Rod mentioned on the use of the question pools to reach wrong what I wanted to achieve, but I can't get to work question pools!

  I have implemented a few issues with the question pool manager using two pools, and then when I went to insert a question in my project, I saw at the bottom of the list types of questions an option saying a link for pool 1, but is grey so I could not use it or I might look for pool 2.

  Is there any manual covering the question pools or help I can get.

  To add a new quiz from a question pool you must go to insert > Quiz Question, check the option for the Question at random, and then select the pool of matter of choice in the drop down menu.

  

  When you have a slide you can just dupicate it (Ctrl + D) to add more and change the Question through the lower pool down in the tab properties of Quiz.

  Go to Windows > Question pool to activate the tab that displays all your Question Pools.  On the Filmstrip, do a right click on a question slide (or a group of slides) and choose the context menu option to move them into a pool.

  I have a project with 36 questions in a question pool.

  I need to change some of these QP issues but as soon as I start doing this I get the message that Captivate has encountered an error... Sorry... and needs to close. I tried three times and he does it every time.

  I edited questions many times before PS without this problem.

  I do not work via the company network, but I just moved locations of part of my office to another, in which case it means something.

  I create a project with 40 questions in a pool one question and 10 random question slides in the project.

  I want to check each question before publication, but it seems you cannt check how each of the question sets of slides, looks and works from within the question pool (or can you?)

  As I have only 10 questions at random in the project, if I run the project to check the questions in this way, I have no way of verifying all 40 questions as I see only 10 of 40.

  How can I check all 40 questions in the question pool?

  Put questions issue on the main project pool, then test, then move them back in the Question pool when you're happy they look right.

• How can I publish a module with random questions (and question pool) in a single swf file?

  What I need is questions randomly in a learning module all exported from captivate 4 in a single swf file, what I get is the swf file and a SWF of pool, is it possible to integrate the pool in the same module/file?

  There will be a place somewhere on the LMS where the SWF file is stored.  But the question pool to get SWFs in the same location would be more trouble that it's worth.

  Some providers of LMS simply not allowing for the fact that training may require more than one file to run it.  They have designed their systems with PowerPoint and PDF or MS Word in mind, all cases where one file is all you need.  These MOVIES are more like content management systems than modern learning management systems.

  If your LMS insists that it cannot operate in this way, then you may need to forget the question pools.

  But I think that you will have even greater problems.  You will wait get marking and follow-up of the results of this LMS for this internship?

  You be obviously NOT use SCORM as publishing option because SCORM still requires JavaScript code to implement the API that allows communication between the LMS and the module course.  Using rather AICC?  Output of Captivate, same AICC requires Javascript, so you need more than the SWF file.

  The project will be taken by many people - which some will be sitting close to each other and I want to do everything I can to stop 'cheat' with regard to the questions.

  I don't know enough about the Question Pools - so my question is this;

  Can I create a pool of questions in my draft chapter unique so that when a person A project they get a set of questions from the pool, person B Gets a new set of questions from the pool, person C Gets or a mixture of new and old and so on — indeed blur the question slides - or can I work only with shuffle answers and everyone gets the question slides even in the same order?

  If she does keep track of which questions you use easier for you, there is nothing to prevent you from creating a reference project that contains all the questions you want to use in all projects.

  However, so that these issues to engage in projects where they will be actually seen by users, you need to copy and paste (Cp5x) or import (Cp4).  There is no current way in Captivate to share questions built into a single pool so that they appear in several projects dynamically.  The need to be physically part of the project file in order to work.

  The button "scan" on the window of HP solutions says that you can "analyze and edit text with or without graph documents." Also, this website solutions indicates that I can edit documents that I scan.  But the 3 output to 'scan' options to create a PDF file, to send a PDF file or to create a Tiff file. I think that all of these types of files are not editable. I was not able to find an option to create text or Word files.

  Software that comes with the printer HP Photosmart Plus B209a there OCR package in it. However, we can always install it by simply following procedure below:

  (1) perform a disk cleanup. (Start > all programs > Accessories > system tools > disk cleanup)

  (2) open the link below and save it on desktop OCR software

  FTP://ftp.HP.com/pub/Printers/ocragent/hpcom_OCR_140_003.exe

  (3) run the file after the download is complete.

  (4) if the error is displayed to indicate "this update does not support all of the HP device... ", do not close the message. It is very important.

  (5) open file folder

  (6) file open 7z

  (7) find the folder "ocr_web_pack".  Copy this folder on the desktop.

  8) click OK in the error message

  (9) open the "ocr_web_pack" file that is copied on the desktop and double-click "SETUP. "EXE" file

• Zero Question pool refurbishment

  I created a game in which you select a category, go to a slide pool question based on your category, then returned to the game slide after answering the question. After playing with him several times to get it to work and looking as I wanted, I found anywhere, anytime I chose a category, it flash white for a fraction of a second and then return to the slide in game. I thought that maybe I had answered all the questions in the question pool and so this was the way he was telling me. However, after you clear the cache and restarted the computer, I still had the same problem. Is there something I can do to reset question pools in my game, or it could be another issue goes?
