• Reports custom Quiz, answers correct by Pool

  Hi all

  Question about custom quiz reports when using the pools. I don't know how to ask the question without example, so here:

  Let's say you have a quiz with 3 pools, A, B and C, and each pool has 20 questions each.  The quiz itself uses only 20 total questions. (It's only a 3rd questions! «(But this allows users to take the test several times and get a different questionnaire each time).»

  So, is it possible that I can activate the reports to inform the user of the questions how they are wrong on the A, B and C at the end of the quiz questions?

  Something like:

  Final score: 75%

  Pool A correct Questions: 5/7 (71%)

  Pool B correct Questions: 7/7 (100%)

  Pool C correct Questions: 4/6 (67%)

  Do not use the event drag enter.  Which will tell you if the user gets this question just or not.

  You must use the event on success for each slide of the question randomly to execute advanced Action, which increments the variable for the pool that pulls the slide.

  The alternative event for these same slides is the event on the last attempt.  This is the event you have to use to run and the fast Action if you want to have a different variable that followed how many wrong answers by question pool.

• Zero Question pool refurbishment

  I created a game in which you select a category, go to a slide pool question based on your category, then returned to the game slide after answering the question. After playing with him several times to get it to work and looking as I wanted, I found anywhere, anytime I chose a category, it flash white for a fraction of a second and then return to the slide in game. I thought that maybe I had answered all the questions in the question pool and so this was the way he was telling me. However, after you clear the cache and restarted the computer, I still had the same problem. Is there something I can do to reset question pools in my game, or it could be another issue goes?

  Mystery solved. I had placed an advanced in the section action on enter the slide of quiz saying back to the slide of the game board. I wanted to have this action as a response to the question of if the user gets the question right or wrong.

• Role specific question pools

  I would like that the learner to be able to select a button which determines their role (assigns a specific role variable value), then see the quiz questions that are specific to this role. The quiz is required (cannot be ignored) so I use the 'Answer All' setting quiz (Quiz > Quiz Preferences > settings > required > Answer All) which means that any question slides must be filled in order inside the course (I can't separate the 3 quizzes). I thought I could create a pool of separate question for each role and then that Captivate displays the pool that corresponds to the selected button. Is this possible and how?  If not, is there another way to achieve this result? I use 7 Captivate.  Thank you

  If you insert a slide at random, you must enter the pool, there is no way to do this based on a condition.

  One way could be to have each of the quiz (with their question pool) in separate files, one open the appropriate file quiz by a conditional action that verifies the role. However, be careful with the required option set to "Answer All". There are other means to force the user to answer each question: drag the next button (which is a "Skip" button) under the clear button, turn off the navigation and the playback bar back. In this case, the user will only be able to advance using the Submit button, that answers the question.

  I want to create a Pool of about 30 questions where users will only receive 5 questions to answer that will appear randomly.

  I created the question pool. But how only 5 questions available in the pool for users to answer?

  I am using Captivate 5.5.

  Go to insert > Questions and select the random option.  The value of the number 5.  Select your favorite pool question as the location where the questions will come.

  I just discovered the Question Pool feature in Captivate. It is a great feature, as much as we have cheating problems with the certification tests. As I spread training until about 1500 using this, I want to make sure I understand it all first. I read all the posts and learned a lot of valuable information.

  1. If there are 10 questions in the pool, and only 8 are used, none of the questions will be used more than once? Even if there are 10 questions in the pool, and we use 15 in class (somewhat), what will happen? Questions will be repeated 3 times? Does make sense?

  From my experience, it works like this. Whether you have five questions in a pool. To randomize, you insert five random question slides and point each other at the pool. If you insert a random question slide sixth it will allow you to point at the pool, but Captivate balk when you try to generate and tell you that you have more random questions that you have questions available in the pool.

  When the end user encounters the first question at random, it is presented at random from the pool of available questions. The second is pulled the other 4 and so on. At any time, the user should never see the same question twice. (Unless, of course, you have created two identical pool questions)

  I want to erase the unwanted plugins in Fire Fox. A plugin has even a warning about its use does not (Java Deployment Toolkit).   Hello 4646tm, I understand your frustration. Here's how to remove a plugin:
  Click the menu and then click on Add ons, which looks like a piece of a puzzle.

      Type about:plugins into the Location bar and press Enter to display the About Plugins page.
     Each entry in the About Plugins page will have "File:" and "Path:", showing the name and location of the plugin file. Use Windows Explorer to navigate to the folder shown for the plugin you want to remove.
     Rename the file to add an X in front of the filename (for instance, npswf32 becomes Xnpswf32).
  

  You said that you do not want links, but I'll give you a couple just in case you do not want to uninstall the plugins manually. These links are to pages that tell you how to run the uninstall it please do not hesitate to tell me if you think that they are not useful.
