How to enable Media Player in Windows XP safe mode

Does anyone know how to enable Windows Media Player in Windows XP safe mode? I sound activated in safe mode but Windows Media Player does not work, it will not only open and there's nothing in Task Manager which shows that it is running in the processes list. It depend on what services? Media Player works fine in normal mode, but only in safe mode.

Any suggestion would be appreciated

Hello Victor,.

I don't think that it is possible to get Windows Media Player to work in Mode safe as it does start normally.
I suggest that you work on the main problem which is screening at the blue start of your machine. I suggest you post a thread on our repair system and the recovery location here:

    Hello jseasea,

Windows Media Player cannot be uninstalled or reinstalled in Windows Vista, as part of the operating system. However, you can try a few things to see if it will be useful.

First, go to the C:\Windows\System32\ and search for the "cmd.exe", right-click on it and select "Run as Administrator", then in the command prompt, type in "SFC/scannow". This will find all of the corrupted system files and fix.

Then find the Media Player, right-click on the file and select 'run as administrator '.
I hope that this will help to get Media Player works for you.

If you have an "N" in Windows 7 Media Player version is not included in this version of the operating system. You will need to download Windows Media Player 11 for Windows XP. (It's for Vista too)

    Hi Michael,

The Player library is a database that includes links to digital media files on your computer. Among other reasons, you cannot move the Player library from one computer to another, because the links in the database would be more correct.

See the link for more details about this information:

  • Media player in windows 7 is marked for a few videos (audio continues)

    Hello

I m using windows7 and my Media Player is getting hit while playing a 1080 p video. The image struck while the audio is fine.

How can I solve this problem?

What type of hardware you have, esp CPU, GPU and Ram?

Some low spec material that is generally a netbook or an old PC may struggle to play 1080 p video, esp if it plays standard definition or even 720 p OK videos.

If you have a suitable hardware, make sure that your graphics card drivers are up to date with the latest version available for your make and model of PC from the manufacturer support site.

If they are up to date, try to uninstall, restart the PC and reinstall WMP to see if that helps - http://www.howtogeek.com/howto/26107/how-to-reinstall-windows-media-player-in-windows-7-to-solve-problems/ (assuming you are using WMP12?).
