How to enable the Welcome screen in photoshop cc?

With photoshop the new se update. The home screen has disappeared and I wanted it back. I found it very useful with some of my drawings. How to enable the Welcome screen?

And just to clarify: Welcome screen has been replaced by the workspace of departure, completed by the advice that the Welcome screen was (although I admit that's exactly as good).

    Hello

    1. If you have Windows 7 Professional or ultimate edition, open the Group Policy Editor and navigate to the following policy.

Computer Configuration / Windows Settings / Security Settings / Local political / Security Options.

In the right pane, double-click the policy:

Interactive logon: do not display last user name - change to "Enabled".

    2. If you have the Home Premium version, you can set this policy using the registry.

    * Make sure that you back up the key before making changes

Open Regedit and navigate to the following location.

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESOFTWAREMicrosoftWindowsCurrentVersionPoliciesSystem\\\

In the right pane, locate the dontdisplaylastusername value. Double-click this value and change the value to 1 data. Click OK.

If this value is not present, right-click and select new/DWORD (32-bit) Value.

Name the dontdisplaylastusername (respect for case-sensitive) value, and then make the above change.

Adobe is marketing home and tell me how wonderful their products are very good, but when I have a problem and I'm trying to interact with Adobe to solve it (something I try to avoid), the assumption always seems to be ' oh it must be user error - you just need a little education "and not" hey this isn't how it should be - we'll fix it. "

I'm on the latest version of CC, running on a macbook pro running OSX 10.10.4

I'm in bridge and select a sequence of photos, tools/photoshop/load files into photoshop layers. After you load the layers, I find myself with the home screen loaded on top, like a modal window with no way to close it. The top of the home screen seems to be 'under' the OSX menu bar, so I don't have visibility where access to any button "close".

I tried to scroll to the bottom of the Welcome screen and selecting the "do not load at startup", but then I can't save this option because the only way I have to get out of photoshop is force it close because the Welcome screen doesn't let me do anything.

    Perhaps relevant:

I'm running on an external monitor, above my mac pro screen. The two screens are active and act in the way that they appear in the Visual extension of the other (for example I 'up' from my mac pro screen to get my big screen). I noticed that lately (maybe beyond 6 months) cc apps became not good to recognize where they are run and open dialogs on the wrong screen.

  • bypass the Welcome screen

I installed PSE9 on a new machine (Win 7).  I remember how to bypass the Welcome screen and go directly to the "editing window" when I opened elements. No problem in the past, but do not remember now. Thank you please - Hugh -.

Create shortcuts to desktop with a right click on an empty area of the desktop and selecting 'New' in the popup, and then 'shortcut' menu in the following menu.  When you create the shortcut,

    Editor executable file is:

    "C:\Program Files (x 86) \Adobe\Photoshop elements 9\PhotoshopElementsEditor.exe.

Executable file of the Organizer is:

    "C:\Program Files (x 86) \Adobe\Elements Organizer\PhotoshopElementsOrganizer.exe 9.

  • Go to the Welcome screen

Since the other thread (How to disable the Welcome screen?) has been "answered" from a new:

After the launch of PS is blocked at the Welcome screen. I can't scroll down to tell him that I do not no show... Because IT is FROZEN. It is not contained in it and I can't leave PS if I don't get to the Task Manager.

the only way I can get it to work is to disable access to the network, launch PS, close the Welcome screen and then re - activate the network access.

I checked my firewall folder and host, tried several dns servers, rechecked iptables on my router, nothing works.

CC programs launch fine, including the Welcome screens - which I was able to extinguish.

the «Do not show...» "should not be part of the happy web, you see now, causes a problem when it does not load and no way to turn it off. do at least one option in the prefs b/c I can hit ctrl + k until the Welcome screen appears to change some things.

.. .and it works now. 2 hours lost because I had to wait for them to update their site Web welcome because they had let me know what features "awesome", they added in the last update.

    Running Vista Ultimate

I created several standard users and multiple administrative accounts of the different members of the family to use.  I want them all to use their standard user account when connecting, but when UAC prompts elevated privileges, I want whether they are able to choose their administrative account.

I found how to hide using the hklm\software\microsoft\windowsnt\currentversion\winlogon\specialaccounts\..., reg key but he's hiding of uac as well.

    Hello

It's not exactly what you were asking that you however maybe it will get enough to do what you need to close.

You should always let a no hidden Admin account and I would leave two, one that is total unused
except for testing and other fastening. Also be sure to check the 'related links' on these pages.
