  I saved my book (jpg) image in a PDF file (reproduced page is an image).  Images imported into the Photos. Created a photo album in the same size with single-image pages and placed in the order I want.  The cover and the flap can be a problem however.  Have thought about it yet, but maybe this will help you start...
