How to export my contacts on my pc from a disabled internet Nokia phone?

I have a working phone, Nokia C5, without access to internet e-mail only sync.  I'm laid off so need my contacts exported to my pc, so I can load it on another phone in the future.  How can I do this because the instructions over the phone only you seem to suggest to use internet for export.  Our technicians at work are not useful. I have also tried to use the USB cable but proposes that copy of the sim card.  Can anyone help with this?  I'm new to smartphone technology.

Toni

  • How to export my contacts from Windows Live Mail on XP

I searched for this answer for the last 2 hours.  All the answers are for Vista & Windows 7.   How to export my Windows Live Mail addresses so that I can use in Thunderbird?  I'm moving to Thunderbird because quick view is off & on display unread messages.  They watch for a few days, then stop broadcasting.  Then repeat for a few days, then stop again.  This is happening for more than a month because there was an update of the first part of the last month.
But back to my original question.  How to export my contacts from Windows Live Mail.  When I click on the file to export and then export, there is nothing highlighted.   So, how can I get my contacts?  Or is there another way to do otherwise than through WLM >

    Thank you

This is happening for more than a month because there was an update of the first part of the last month.

There has been no update for WLMail 2009 since April 2010. Update do you think has affected your quick view?

How to export my contacts from Windows Live Mail.

Open the contacts window by clicking the address book at the foot of the folders pane. On the file menu, click export , and then select comma separated (CSV) values. If you don't see the menu bar, press ALT.

Note that the last statement on the help page (Export contacts) is wrong: by dragging the window contacts contacts on the desktop doesn't create any kind of file. In version 12 and 15, this produces a vCard (.vcf) file for each contact, but not in the version 14 (WLMail) 2009.

Windows Live Mail has its own support at the Windows Live Solution Centerforums. Please address any other question you may have on one of the forums on the right side of this page. You are probably asked to give your version of WLMail and Windows so that the answer may be more accurate. In WLMail to find your version of the software, a press on ALT - H. If it doesn't show you the version and the build number, press on escape to two times, and then Alt - F B.

  • Is it possible to import multiple vCards at the same time? That's how I exported my contacts from my webmail client.

This is a new experience for me (allows me to simply call a novice), and I think it would be easier for me to do an import in bulk, rather than one at a time, or worse, manual entry of all the... I exported all of my contacts in webmail in multiple vcards (how it was available) and thought that there must be an easier way to pull this off.

    Thank you in advance!

  • How do export you contacts from windows mail in thunderbird, since there is no option to export

I keep seeing that you can click on tools and export to export the address book contacts, but there is no such thing to click.

  • How can I rebuild Contacts using files retrieved from a failing hard drive?

I want to restore the Contacts (address book) on my new MacBook Pro, using recovered files to a failed drive of my old Mac. My Help Desk was able to extract most of the data files (but not apps) from the defective drive. These data files are restored to the new Mac. Of these, I chose a few hundreds of files of the type, 'The card Contacts data', using the smart folder feature. I named the file, "All contacts Map Data Type." (I must have assembled the information to hand over the years, as only a handful of contacts have a vCard.)

I've been so far failed to restore the info in the Contacts application: (a) tried "Import" functionality of the application, but the dialog box that opens shows no files "all the contacts data card kind; (b) tried to drag the selected files in the folder "All files of Contacts data card kind" on the Contacts icon closed, but no luck. (c) the Contacts application, when in reality open, shows the first entry of contact (Apple Inc.) and no place to drag the files selected in.

Each 'card contacts' file has a file name that has the name of a person, preceded of a Rolodex-like icon doesn't seem to be a good type of data in the Contacts application. Maybe that's a previous type of an address book application?

    Any suggestions?

Have you tried to drag the folder in the sidebar of the Finder to see if you can then see when you use Import?

  • Profile Palm site should be easier to find, should list the date of the last synchronization, might allow that an export of contact information and help from backup should not give 404 s.

I had to reset my phone last night, and neither I, nor the technology of Sprint knew where was the site of palm profile.  I finally found at palm.com, but perhaps the Palm profile on the phone itself should contain a URL or a help file on the phone in contacts AND backups...

In any case, we went there just to confirm that the phone had recently sync would be and there is no information presented at palm.com concerning the status of the last synchronization.  I think there should be.

Also, when in the backup application, I tried to read the help, I rather got a 404 help.palm.com/en-us/c019-00/d100-00/palm_activate/index.html

    or...

    Just go to www.palm.com/palmprofile

  • How to export the list of internal users from VPN 3005 concentrator?

I would like to be able to export the list of users for the purpose of documentation. Is this possible to do with the 3005?

    Thank you

    Raul

It's not easy passing just to get the list of name of user, but you can get the whole config and then grab users ot there in a couple of ways.

In XML format, which is easier to read, go to Admin - Mgmt - XML Export file and export the config file to any file name. Then under the file Mgmt section this file that will appear in a separate window. Search to find the sections of the user names and passwords.

Text (a bit like an in the Windows .ini file), go to settings to access Admin - rights of access - and no Config File Encryption value. Save the configuration. Then go to file Mgmt and display the CONFIGURATION file, search for [user *. 1] to find all of the names of users and their values. This way is not very useful to be honest.
