  • How to export settings of the workspace in PhotoShop CC?

    How to export settings of the workspace in PhotoShop CC?

    Specifically, the location of my tools, palettes and so on.

    I created my work space and save - and this is my window > Workspace menu but it's not here the export option.

    Other instructions I found (for CS6) supposed to go into file > presets > menu manage - but that has only brushes, shades, etc. - no option I can find for the workspace layout.

    PC instructions, please. Feel free to include Mac, if they are different, so the next person can find a complete solution.

    (I hope the translation of this statement for INDD & I - or I'll post on the forums as well)

    Please and thank you.

    If you can access other system files of users on the local or remote computer, you can import the Photoshop preferences files.

  • How can I export or save the highlights and annotations that I made in my ebooks using ADE2?

    Hello

    I've done many annotations and I have highlighted many paragraphs in my ebooks using ADE2.

    Now, I need to format my PC and reinstall Windows.

    How to export / save my highlights and annotations so that I can keep them?

    I want only to keep this information with me. How can I do?

    Thank you.

    I agree, it would be good to have cloud management and storage of books etc that you use under ADE, but I doubt that Adobe will provide.

    Unfortunately, Adobe provides a very limited support for EDOS and EDOS related infrastructure: I suspect just enough to be able to get money from suppliers for the use of the Adobe DRM.  Not online management of authorized devices, no appropriate product test (as evidenced by the large number of bugs in ADE2.0)...

    If you are ready to play a little and a little technical, you could probably get the desired effect.

    Use a cloud synchronization mechanism that allows you to specify your own records.

    Or use something like Dropbox and use a directory or symbolic link junction to make the directory part of Digital Editions of your Dropbox.

    Okay, this is a hack, but as I say, you probably never will get it if you wait for Adobe.

  • How many times firefox automatically save the Favorites of the user?

    In the example given in the tutorial of Firefox, it would seem that Firefox performs an automatic backup of the Favorites of the user in a random manner, that is, sometimes daily and sometimes several days (weeks) pass without backup automatically bookmarks in Firefox. No one knows how many times we rely on Firefox by performing an automatic backup of bookmarks? I'm new to Firefox and want to know if I need to perform manual backups regular bookmarks for more safety in case of crash. Thank you!

    Firefox will create JSON backup each day you launch Firefox. If you keep your computer and do not close Firefox then it may not be a JSON backup created.

    If you close Firefox and no backup is created on the next start, then you can have an extension interference or other problems with your software folder or cleaning of profile (e.g. CCleaner) which removes backups.

  • How to export or save Favorites in Audition CS5.5?

    I intend to uninstall Audition CS5.5 of my current computer to install on a new, but I have sunk a lot of time in favorite decision that I don't want to lose in the transition. In AA3, you could save on your scripts and even change, but I can't find anything similar for the Favorites in CS5.5.  Where are hidden data?  Any help would be appreciated.

    It should be like that (from memory, since I'm not in front of my Windows machine):

    C:\Users\\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Audition\4.0\

    Note that AppData is hidden by default

    Using the command "Save as image > layers Photoshop" would be ideal.  However I'm not finding any information on "save image under" or "Photoshop layers" in the documentation.

    It would be surprising if someone had all know about that.

    Thanks for the research.

  • Export or save the AE trajectories

    Hi all

    One request a little weird and I feel, it will not be possible, but... there at - it a way to export or save movement paths on of EI? Just like bringing vectors out of Illustrator, but in reverse.

    I have a very broad comp that I'm moving a camera around. I would take the camera path in illustrator or photoshop and create work based on the form, so that when I put it it back in and add it to the comp it perfectly fits the camera movements. I know that I should probably have doe it polarity, but the cmera move is / was based on too many variables to lock at this stage of the project.

    Any help/suggestions greatly appreciated.

    Thank you.

    Copy paste & works in two ways... Trajectories can be pasted as masks and even railways in PS and AI. Just make sure to set your options of Clipboard in artificial intelligence to AICB, not PDF...

  • How promt user to save the changes when you change the non-base fields?

    Hello
    I have a form with two tabs. The datablock Block_1 on tab_2 is based on a view of database. But all the displayed items of the Block_1 are non-base of data elements. Whenever a user changes some elements of Block_1 and press the button Save, the values of non_db elements copied from the db_items (based on the view), and commit_form is called. It works very well.
    But the problem here is: after the change of some elements of block_1, if the user navigates to another form/option in the menu, the shape is not promt the user to 'save changes' and all changes are lost. How can I fix it?
    I have a form level key-release trigger, (which does not fire) with the following code: -.
    Declare
      X  Number;
      alert_is             alert;
    Begin

    If :System.Mode = 'ENTER-QUERY' Then

            Exit_Form;

    Else
      If :System.Form_Status In ('NEW','QUERY') Then
           alert_is := FIND_ALERT('TMPL_EXIT'); -- "Are you sure you want to exit?"
        X := Show_Alert('TMPL_EXIT');

        If X = Alert_Button1 Then
           Exit_Form(no_validate);
        End If;
        Else
           Exit_Form;
      End If;
    End If;
    End;

    When button preesed trigger that fills your block:

    --somewhere in loop after NEXT-RECORD and assigning values:
    set_record_property (:system.cursor_record, :system.cursor_block, STATUS, QUERY_STATUS );

    Now you can copy the values of the elements not db to db items in when-validate-item.

    Of course, it is a quick fix and dirty. Good way would be to solidarity block using EXECUTE QUERY, delete everything in mirror and do you calculations in a trigger post-requete

  • How to find and save the subject line in thunderbird

    I need to search the mails and export lines referred to Excel.

    After a thorough review, it appears there are a few bugs in the add-on: right click on a selection of messages, then "save messages selected/just index (CSV)" does not create a csv file, and choose a few index (HTML) produces an empty index.html file. By selecting 'Spreadsheet (CSV)' produces a csv file, but it contains the message body.

    However, if you right click on a folder, then ImportExportTools/export all messages in the folder/just index (CSV), a csv file is created with columns for the sender, the subject, the recipient and the Date.

    So, until the bugs are fixed, it seems that you have to copy the search results in a folder for the purpose of creating the csv file correct; Open in Excel, and remove the unwanted columns.
