  Win XP SP3 with LR 2.4 office, laptop Vista Home with LR 2.3.  I have two catalogs: we're all digital images, the other every drag Scans.  I know I can have everything in a single catalog but prefer this way.

  On my desktop my images folder contains all my files from LR, including two catalogs, the Image files, all the previews and a LR settings file.  The other day, I did an Export in the catalog of my images, including everything except previews to send to external k.  Ends up staying on my C drive (must have missed a prompt somewhere).  Scared the heck out of me because I'm done with only 3gbs on my C drive!  In any case, I got that all sorted by copy my image to Ext K, all this backed by Ext F and Firelite and then delete the folder in C double.  (I also have the LR back ups daily on my D drive).

  Thus, it dawned on me that I might as well have "copied" my images to the external (as I do with back ups) as for export in the catalog.  Is there a good reason not just 'Copy' or ' send to '?  What would be the difference?

  Today, I'll update the laptop to 2.4 and will remove then all of my pictures and .lrcats to the C drive of the desktop computer.  Because there are a few additions and changes on the Desktop files, I thought to do a new clean "export as catalog" (for practice to see I can do it right) so I can have that on the laptop when I upgrade LR 2.4.  Decided to get your answer above before performing this step.

  In your case, you're aware where are the images, etc., I'd say you're good with copy instead of using the export as catalog on your external gasket.

  That depends on what platform you're on, but by default, they are files hidden deep in your user profile, and it also depends on whether or not you have checked the option 'Store Presets with catalog' preferences. If you check this option, you will find the settings Lightroom folder adjacent to your catalog, in the same catalog.

  Easiest way to find them if you have not activated this option: go to the presets of your Preferences dialog box tab and click the button 'Show Lightroom Presets folder'... that will open the file browser of your system (Finder or Explorer) with the parameters selected parent folder. Open that folder and you will see all the presets different and other subfolders of parameters. Metadata presets is such a record, but there are others that guests may also copy, for example to develop Presets.

  There is an extension which exports cookies to the old text file format. That could allow you to delete the ones your do not want by using a text editor. I think that you would need the extension again to reimport the file (modified) in Firefox.

  Thank you for your question. I apologize for being a little late in coming in responses. If we are unable to find an answer, please post your question again once.

  I understand that you would like to know how to export the client certificate to the Android and also use it on the desktop.

  IT may not work on the desktop, but I don't know that you can turn on remote debugging in Firefox. The cert.db on the desktop stores all certificates. (is it the same on the Android device?)

  Try the Cert Manager add on for Firefox for Android. Ref stackoverflow.com
