  Simply create the pdf file and add a link to it, as you would for any web page - include a link to download the software Acrobat reader as well.  I would avoid using a Word file, in which case the person may not have Word installed on their machine.

Others are simply limits to all OCR process and you will have to live with it, especially since your image is extremely low resolution and the font used is not particularly suitable for OCR, either - too many thin areas will be ignored or interpreted as gray.   An EGG file is just a tarball of hard, .ovf and .mf files. The .ovf file is always the first. For example, on a Unix like operating system, this should be easy.

  For Windows, there are several options available to manage programmatically the tarballs. See for example http://www.codeproject.com/Articles/470999/tarlib-Windows-TAR-Library.

  And the ovf itself file is in XML format. For handling XML files are libraries available for literally every OS and programming language.

  It is a small example of a 'virtual' keyboard that will enter the text into a textinput/textarea component selected. Capslock and shift key States really aren't quite right (really need control shift/cap lock combo), but there is a simple tab and backspace (delete) and enter the function key.

  It looks like a font that comes is not recognized. There is not much you can do about it. I guess you are trying to say that you just want to know what it is if you can go buy it?

  If so, one thing you could do is to take a screenshot of part of the text then run via http://new.myfonts.com/WhatTheFont/. It does a decent job of identification of fonts.
