  To check the default tablespace assigned to a user, you can query from dba_users as below:

  SELECT USER_USERS FROM dba_users WHERE username = 'SCOTT ';

  If you want to see the storage space in which the user created objects, you can query from dba_segments as below:

  SELECT master, nom_tablespace FROM dba_segments owner WHERE = 'SCOTT ';

  I suggest that you first print these instructions by using a font to large size constant spacing so that you can read correctly. There are spaces in the lines which are not readily observable.
