  Contact the manufacturer of your computer and give them the serial number, because they must have a record of your machine and what has been installed on it.

  Have you looked in the compartment of the COA / product key, if it is a laptop?

  Short answer: the stationery support has been removed from Windows Live Mail with the upgrade of v.2009 v.2011 back in 2010.

  Long answer: there are two solutions of workaround that you can try.

  • If you have a stationery .htm file, open it in Internet Explorer, and then select file > Send > Page by email (Alt - F E P). Save the message as a result as a .eml file and use it as a model for messages.

  I searched for this answer for the last 2 hours.  All the answers are for Vista & Windows 7.   How to export my Windows Live Mail addresses so that I can use in Thunderbird?  I'm moving to Thunderbird because quick view is off & on display unread messages.  They watch for a few days, then stop broadcasting.  Then repeat for a few days, then stop again.  This is happening for more than a month because there was an update of the first part of the last month.
  But back to my original question.  How to export my contacts from Windows Live Mail.  When I click on the file to export and then export, there is nothing highlighted.   So, how can I get my contacts?  Or is there another way to do otherwise than through WLM >

  There has been no update for WLMail 2009 since April 2010. Update do you think has affected your quick view?

  Open the contacts window by clicking the address book at the foot of the folders pane. On the file menu, click export , and then select comma separated (CSV) values. If you don't see the menu bar, press ALT.

  Note that the last statement on the help page (Export contacts) is wrong: by dragging the window contacts contacts on the desktop doesn't create any kind of file. In version 12 and 15, this produces a vCard (.vcf) file for each contact, but not in the version 14 (WLMail) 2009.

  Windows Live Mail has its own support at the Windows Live Solution Centerforums. Please address any other question you may have on one of the forums on the right side of this page. You are probably asked to give your version of WLMail and Windows so that the answer may be more accurate. In WLMail to find your version of the software, a press on ALT - H.   I tried pointing out the pictures in my pictures and then clicking on send, and I tried in Windows Live Mail, by clicking on the Photo by e-mail (SkiDrive).  Whatever it is, everything seems fine until I got the email. Then, there is a long wait, and ultimately, I get:

I can't print or preview in IE8 or Windows Live Mail and have not found a solution for that - but I don't know if this has nothing to do with not being able to use Photo Email/SkiDrive.

  Windows Live Mail does not allow scripts and other aspects of dynamic HTML.  If you have a message from OE or Windows Mail (Vista) that has these capabilities so you can send this message as a file as an attachment in a message eml and which will then open in OE or WinMail on the recipient machine.  Or you can rename it to eml to mht and who will then open in Internet Explorer on the recipient end.  But impossible to use WLM to compose such a message, as these features were eliminated in it.
   
  There are other options to overcome these limitations in Windows Live Mail, so that users can continue to be creative in their e-mail.  Seewww.oehelp.com/OEnWin7.aspx for some of them.

  For the last few months I spend hours ranging from help in support of sites etc sites, try to change my Windows live mail 2011 ID so I could e-mail. Somehow be an absolute genius, I entered an ID Yahoo active as my windows live mail ID. Whenever I'm on a MSN site (and sometimes others) when accessing "share or email" it automatically opens a Windows live mail sending form. It still shows my address like this Yahoo address and I get a failure. For any consultation of everyone else, it is the actuall message:

  Try this:

  Click the Start button, select Control Panel and click Add/REMOVE. On the page Add/Remove to find the windows live essentials and click on modify it / remove button. This will display a page that offers the possibility to uninstall or repair. Check the button fix and on the next page, select this option to repair windows live mail. I hope this helps.
