How to fix FLV videos late?
Hello everyone.
I created several FLV files in Adobe After Effects to a batch of 600 PNG and are 20 long dry at run time. Videos must be used in Prezi and it's also the way which I test them. In the hope of reducing the lag that I lived, I did multiple FLV. Each with their own speed, and also on a couple of them I used the same rate but with different format options.
On every FLV there is a slight difference in how smoothly they run, but ultimately they are all agitated at one point.
Also be important to note that the video backgrounds are transparent, fairly small file size (less than 12 MB) and run more easily on the laptop from my employer and my pc when you use Prezi.
Any help is welcome.
Renounce the transparencies. Those merger calculations have a huge performance impact. And of course check out the hardware acceleration in Flash Player / Adobe AIR. without him, even simple video can play lag.

How to fix streaming videos that freeze at a certain time?
Well, when I load a streaming video on streaming sites (not live), they play the intro and when it gets to a certain stamp(4:12) of time it freezes on this scene, and when I try to advance the time, so it does not freeze on this scene, it freezes again on that even if the time stamp said 04:30 and his game dialogue different from when it froze.

Hello
1 is he doing with all the videos that you play using Windows media player?
2. What is the format of the video file?
3. who is the operating system installed on your computer?
It is not possible to rotate a video with Windows Media Player.
You will need to use Windows movie maker to turn the video and save it, then later play using Windows media player.
(a) open Windows Movie Maker, click file, and then click import media items.
(b) locate the file you want to import and then click import.
(c) click the Clip, and then click Add to the timeline or Add to the storyboard table.
(d) click Tools, and then click effects.
(e) in the content pane, click the effect you want to add. You can click read under the monitor to see a preview of what the effect looks like.

IPhoto to my Macbook Pro (old version) won't let me play the video clips more (it was). They are mostly of clips to iPhone. When I try to open them I get a dark white page with an error message:
"Error OSStatus-54".
Someone has seen this and someone has suggestions on how to fix it?
It's so frustrating because with most of these clips, that is the only place where I stored them - some clips I get from family members as well... (In iPhoto, I see a picture of the first frame of the clip, but the clip does not play). Even when the new version of iPhoto appeared on my computer, my old version slept and I continued to use the old because I liked it is better (more familiar). The videos were still on the old version when I got the new version, but they stopped play several months ago. Help! Please? Thank you!
What version of iPhoto? The operating system?

How can I download videos from my camera Sony HDV for later editing and the creation of a DVD? I just installed Adobe software today and can't find anything about it.
I am very familiar with Pinnacle, but I've been disillusioned about their support.

Exported video is jerky, how to fix?
Hi all
I recently came across a new job that requires me to use Adobe CS4 first. Until I got this job I've ever used Final Cut Pro, so I'm a little lost with Adobe.
I am currently working on a project that has been half completed by the man who held the post before me. I don't know that the video was shot in/by/etc as it was completed until I started working. After finishing the project I exported it an .avi, but playback was very choppy. The video looks like it was spasming: titles and sequences obscene flash and it's a real headache to watch.
I tried to export using a different file type (MPEG4, MPEG2, H.264, AVI uncompressed Windows, Windows Media) and nothing has solved the problem. I guess there is a problem with the settings themselves, but I'm not entirely sure how to fix it. The video plays well in the first, for the record.
How can I stop the video to be so agitated during playback? In addition, what other information is needed to help?
Thank you
-RD
Welcome to the forum.
I would take a few steps back. Use G-Spotor MediaInfo, to indicate the complete specifications. the source files.
Then look at the sequence settings and see how well, or how badly, they match.
Looks like the sequence might well not have been created correctly, to match the source footage.
Also check the order of the fields in the source Clips.
Good luck

How can I control a FLV video using exhibit main bar (not FLV skin)?
I need to have the ability to play/pause a FLV video on a slide with the bar of main games. Research showed me that in previous versions, there is a checkbox "synchronize with project" which allowed this. I don't find this in version 8. Is there another way to do this?
Hello
Welcome to the Adobe Forums
Try to insert the video like video instead of event video synchronized slides,
Then down below it will be an option to distribute video through the slides and you can select Slide n to n (where n is the number of slide).
Hope that this will serve as your need.

How to find a cuepoint in an f4v video (it worked with a flv video)?
I used the following in my project, AS3.0 code linking images and a video (.flv):
When I click on the text Titre0 I want the video pass the cuepoint "1".
Titre0.addEventListener (MouseEvent.CLICK, fl_ClickToSeekToCuePoint_0);
function fl_ClickToSeekToCuePoint_0(event:MouseEvent):void
{
var cuePointInstance:Object = my_FLVPlybk.findCuePoint("1");
my_FLVPlybk.seek (cuePointInstance.Time);
this.gotoAndStop (1);
slide. Value = 1;
}
It works with a flv video, not with a f4v.
You can use:
var cuepointA:Array = [];
my_FLVPlybk.addEventListener (FL. Video.MetadataEvent.CUE_POINT, cueF);
btn.addEventListener (MouseEvent.CLICK, fl_ClickToSeekToCuePoint_0);
function fl_ClickToSeekToCuePoint_0(event: MouseEvent): void {}
my_FLVPlybk.Seek(cuepointA[0]);
}
function cueF (e:fl.video.MetadataEvent): void {}
cuepointA.push (e.info.time);
}
