  I have a laptop Compaq Presario R3000, and I tried to use Skype on it. Problem is that the other end can't hear me. I tried all the suggestions on the site of Skype to try and attach the microphone.  I tried the recorder (click programs, accessories, then entertainment to access), but when I record my voice, nothing, so I guess it has something to do with the microphone. Just to be sure - this model has an internal microphone? What I've read, it seems that it does. I downloaded the updated drivers, so I don't think that's the problem. Any suggestions?
