How to flatten a background pattern in Illustrator CC 2014?

A customer sent me through a work of art through and there is a substantive reason him - now when I move the work the pattern background does not move with him - which means it's different when it's moving - I want that he look the same so is there a way I can flatten the background pattern?

Without layers are locked - in fact the work is a layer.

Thanks a lot - live Adobe help was no good and ended the conversation quite abruptly without any help whatsoever!

Select the model and go to object > expand then you will need to identify the masked area by hitting the object > clipping mask > release (Ctrl + Alt + 7)

  • How can I disable the Hello screen Illustrator CC 2014 permanently?

    I just upgraded to Illustrator CC 2014, and I'm a little baffled by the inability to turn off the screen Hello. It may be easy, but I don't see how.

    Under the menu 'Help' I don't see a check mark next to "Hello"... ", but clicking on it does not turn off the screen Hello. When I turned off the screen using the Red Cross in the upper left of the group, it does not go far, and it can be turned on again using the menu entry "help." I don't want it to appear... never. I wish I could use Illustrator way I want to and not felt the need to close this superfluous cover, everytime I open the software.

    Thanks for any input.

    Select the 'Getting Started', 'News' or 'Tips & Techniques".  Then scroll to the bottom of the Panel.  Click on the checkbox "do not see the Welcome screen Again.  You can click on the red x to store the dialog box, and it will not come back unless you manually reopen in the Help menu.  Note him 'don't show welcome screen Again' is available only if you are a Subscriber paid to creative cloud.  Trial users will still see the Welcome screen.

    Hello. I have a simple illustration of a landscape line and I would like to add a translucent Rainbow, where the background color of the landscape is gently visible through the colors of the Rainbow, as in nature or a photo. Someone knows how to do this please? Thank you.

    (Currently the Rainbow is drawn on the background as an illustration).

    Reduce the opacity of the object to see through it. Add a blur to soften if necessary.

  • How crop you a diagonal pattern in a way that makes tiled for the web?

    web-back-pattern1.jpg

    At the moment I just abandoned and made a huge image and kept to about 800kb for a web context. However, I realize that's not ideal. I can't understand how this model of mosaic. I think there are some crazy math that I must calculate to be included in the importance of the harvest, so that the threshold for images fit perfectly, but I have no idea how to do that. Anyone ran into this situation before and found a solution?

    You're hurting! :-)

    Use css to solve this problem. Although there is no css property to rotate a background image, you can apply a trick to create the same effect.

    (1) save your file with a regular rectangular pattern (17.6 kb):

    (2) save this in your image folder in the root of your site.

    (3) to create a background rotated to your page, use this:

    {body

    position: relative;

    background: url('.. / img/bgrot.jpg') repeat 0 0;

    }

    body: before {}

    content: "";

    position: fixed;

    Width: 200%;

    height: 200%;

    top: 50%;

    left: 50%;

    z-index:-1;

    background: url('.. / img/bgrot.jpg') repeat 0 0;

    -webkit-transform: rotate(-20deg);

    -moz-transform: rotate(-20deg);

    -ms-transform: rotate(-20deg);

    -o - transform: rotate(-20deg);

    transform: rotate(-20deg);

    }

    Fact! Much easier and more flexible. To see it work, see the test I did to http://estructor.altervista.org/rotbg/test.html

    You can examine the code in your browser.

    PS the css transformations are not supported in IE 8 - the background will show again, although (non-tourne). IE8 will be might want to use a conditional comment in your html code to create a conventional background pattern instead.

    * Update * I've updated the example with a wrapper page element that uses the same context, but it runs at a different angle. The trick here is to create a sufficiently broad element that covers the entire area. Then you must set the overflow: hidden; to hide the overflow so it contains the background pattern within this box. It takes a bit of tinkering to get work for the height and width values, because it is somewhat dependent on the actual content.

    Hi all

    I created a custom made model in solid black in Illustrator and want to use it as a form defined in Photoshop, I can do this?

    First, create the pattern in Illustrator and save it as a sample of the model. Apply the model to a certain squares of size at your convenience, expand it, and then flatten transparency copy and paste from Illustrator to Photoshop as an object path / smart.

    From there, you can set it as a pattern in Photoshop.
