• How to use the r6100 as a router connected to a modem/router C3700

  Hello - I have a meg Xfinity 150 per second internet package. I bought a router modem C3700 combo and used for a few months. We have more than 20 devices connected to it, I wanted a simultaneous dual band router and bought the r6100. The current configuration is as follows - the coaxil cable enters into the modem or the c3700. A CAT6 ethernet cable goes from the c3700 to port internet r6100.

  No other configuration don't get made in two packages of devices. All settings are stock except for the SSID and password and the password Netgenie has also changed.

  These two SSID is named identical to support dual-band simultaneously. Everything works, but I wonder if it's the safest way to use these two features of netgear. I test in the 90's low extent of the MB per second. We pay for the 150 that makes me think that something is not the optimum installation program. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

  We have just received a Lenovo S10 Netbook with the 'Starter' Win 7 version for my daughter and I have a question about the configuration of the wireless access.  It's my first exposure to Win 7, so I will describe things better than I can.

  I clicked on the "Internet access" icon in the status bar and came to the list of wireless network connections.  I chose one of our encrypted router WPA - PSK, cut and pasted my character of ~ 30 'network security key' (password/password) and bingo, I was connected to internet and websurfing very well.

  Here's my question.  How i permenently hide 'Network security key' my router?

  When I come back for wireless network connections and right click on my router and select "Properties" and go to the 'Security' tab, there is a small box labeled "Show characters" who will switch back and forth between a string of points and the 'plain text' 'Network security key' for anyone to read. "  I am not prepared to follow his game to use our network if anyone with access to its Netbook can get the password of my router WPA.

  AFAIK, you can't replace that, even if I'm wrong on this issue.

  Insofar as others get your key wireless of its netbook, make sure that your girls account is a standard user account and that she doesn't have administrator permissions. This way if she tried to see the properties of wireless for your wireless network security, it cannot only if they enter the administrator password. In the example screen if I'm logged in as a standard user and try to check the box next to display characters UAC appears and ask my administrative user password.

  FWIW, I executed as a standard user, 99% of the time on my Windows 7 laptop. My wife runs as a standard user 100% of the time on his Office XP Pro. When I set up my PC I create an administrative user, IE. Root in my case and the number of users for each machine. All are protected by Word. Root is only used to install programs, change system tricks, security settings, etc... etc... etc...

  I would use a 1 d Simple edge detection that returns the coordinates and the edge angle.

  You must control your motors that for example the angle is 0 degrees or 90 degrees (depending on your coordinate system) all the time.

  Access the routers admin pages.  Connect via a wired computer to 192.168.1.1 with your browser, the empty user name, the password "admin" (everything that you change too).

  Disable UPnP.  Under settings wireless Beacon interval 75, RTS and Fragmentation threshold to 2304.  Try channel 1 or 11.  Save the settings and reconnect.

  Go to localhost:631 brings up the page of CUPS online.

  Maybe if I changed WSX in listening on port 8307 I might have better luck.

  This was solved by uninstalling WSX 1.02 (dereconfiguring I should say) and then installing the beta version 1.1 (allowing NoScript OK access to localhost).  Always the possibility to change change the port was not found, but 8888 worked if the thread is unanswered. .  I would like to move this thread to the WSX forum but it's fairly inactive last I checked.

  WSX login screen looks better, but it will take me a while to go through the changelog.

  I update the port 8888 to 8901 and restart the service. Then I can access through http://localhost:8901 wsx.

  I tried on Fedora 18 x 32.

I also have two network cards integrated with my motherboard. Now, is it possible to use the secondary router for my virtual server for my test environment?

  So far, I connected the external port of the ISP router on the internal port of the router Cisco-for the basic configuration. I guess, I need to connect the secondary of my host network adapter to the router cisco-but then, I do not know how to configure vmware to use secondary nic as NIC default.

  Right, I found the solution, but I thought I'd share it for people who do not know.

  Router installation as follows:

  ISP-router to Host (NIC_1) to the host (192.168.0.1) connectivity

  ISP-router-Cisco-router (Internet Port) (192.168.1.1)

  MUST be on different subnets

  Cisco-router to Host (NIC_2) (in the NIC_2 adapter properties, all checkboxes except VMware Bridge Protocol MUST be deselected HOST, so please use NIC_2)

  VMware, Virtual Network Editor, full of connection Type must be selected as MANUAL that points to your NIC_2

  AND

  the parameters of the Virtual Machine to the network card, ' Custom: specific Virtual Network ' should point to NIC_2.

  This will allow you to use your second NETWORK card for your virtual machine (but the MAC address will be assigned by VMware... does cause no problem at all)

  Your virtual, in my case, Windows Server 2008 R2 operating system, will be no connectivity until you assign a static TCP/IPv4 address.

  This will isolate your virtual network on your home network.
