  I am currently using Acrobat to create a form to fill out. Basically I want the selection in the drop down from the provinces to calculate the taxes of the SubShip field. I have 3 fields of text labeled GST, HST and PST and the selection must fill each box respectively. However, with the code that I use now, it is calculation only 13% of the SubShip field any province is selected, and it is only showing in the box of HST.   You error means there is an error in the name of the field used in the script. You must check very carefully the spelling and capitalization of the name of the field.

  I guess you are referring to the drop-down list option videos list to include in the library in the photo folder.

  The option is available, even if a video file is not included in the folder.

  You can delete or copy and paste the video file to another folder.

  If you are referring to any other menu drop-down then validate a screen so that we can analyse the question better.

• How to fill a text box after selecting a drop down list?

  I have created a form that has a drop-down list with different types of products. After a person chooses a product in the menu I would fill the text box with a description of the product.  I'm a newbie here, but I thought that was far from using JavaScript to do this.   When I send the form as a PDF and then all the other field values is saved, except the values entered into the text selected in the dropdownlist control box.

  How can I get these values to be saved in the PDF file so that these values disappear.

  I use a laptop and my hands are not too clever. Whenever I click on the 'back' button, I get the drop-down list, which means that I must then back up my hand to the pad (gently!) to move the pointer, and then try again. It may take me several attempts to turn back a site now!

When someone chooses either retirement or anyone at home, I would another drop box 2 (employer) to assign automatically "n/a. . The employer drop box has only two options: "enter your own/blank", N/A.

  Far, I could for that box to fill but only when the person clicks in the box (as if they were about to enter their own text.) Then only it will fill the drop-down list "employer." I would like it auto fill once the person has chosen retired, Virgin or stay-at-home woman without having to enter in the box (just using the arrow to the size of the drop-down list box).

  I currently have a key shot that resets the employer box when a person chooses the option vacuum/enter your own option. I then a JavaScript (only for the housewife now) that only works if you click the box of. Key combination works I want to than the other options work as well. If the client settles on white, the choice of the employer updates automatically empty without having to click in the box of. Any help (including general advice to make my code cleaner) is very appreciated!

  I would not use the key sequence or MouseUp actions for this, but the action post.

  Just make sure that you set the field option to validate the selected value immediately (under Properties - Options) and then use this code as the custom validation script:

  I could use help decipher how to control 2 separate drop-down lists ('b' and 'c') through the value selected in the main drop-down menu (that is, 'a').

  My script worked perfectly to control another menu drop down, however I can't seem to properly control the third zone.

  In my example below, what I'm trying to do is control 'Method - external' and 'Department - external', through my gout primary to the bottom of the list. The external 'method -' drop-down list works fine, it is the third 'Department - external' that I fight with.

  For example, if 'Theft' is chosen in the first drop-down menu, I want 'Method - external' to display the series points and "Department - external" to display a different set of items. If 'Cyber Crime' is selected in the main menu down, then the external 'method' - set items will change and the external "Department -" will indicate N/A.

  With the following script - no matter what happens if I choose 'Flight' or 'Cyber Crime' in the first menu drop down, 'Cyber Crime' n/d game elements are displayed in the external "Department -" drop-down.

  I apologize if this is hard to follow - it is certainly difficult to explain. I hope that my question came through.

  I'm simulating a form that my audience must fill.  2 text fields, I use a drop-down list box to select the appropriate entry.  If they leave the screen of the form, I need save their answers, so they need not start from the beginning.  I use global variables.

  My problem occurs when I try to fill the drop-down list using the previously selected public response box.  I tried to use setSelectedIndex.  It works insofar as the choice highlights in the drop-down list box, but the actual selection does not appear in the text box.  What I do pay Combobox.text = selection?
