How to get around a screen error message and continue the installation of Xp

Displays 'Hardware cable' disconnected, but everything has been checked and is in good condition. The screen message: for Realtek RTL8139 (X) /8130/ 810 X PCI Fast Ethernet Controller v2.13 (020326) PXE - E61 Media Test Failure, check cable PXE - M0F: exit PXE ROM message keeps scrolling continuously until the unit is turned off manually. Laptop HP (Pavilion dv8220ca) was opened for inspection regarding the cleaning of the fan and the region, but since the unit has never been on carpet, bed or other areas prone to dust, it was remarkably clean for a system of 5 years. HP is noted (according to the person well experienced that he disassembled) to be a "pain in the *' because there is no direct path to what you want to get to." It is all in "layers" compared to Dell, Acer and other manufacturers. All this great work to this day. Any suggestion would be appreciated!

I would like to check the Device Manager to see if the device in question is! or? next to him.  If so, something is worng somewhere. What device did complain?  Please post the exact message you get.

I hope this helps.  Good luck.

  • How to disable all types or error messages (appcrash, initializing the dll, the material error messages) via regedit (HKCU only)?

    Hello

I was wondering how to disable all types of error messages on windows (XP/7/8/8.1) through registry through HKCU only.

I know that I can change on win 7/8

    The HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Windows error report

    DontShowUI to 1

and on win xp (is it possible to do this through HKCU instead of HKLM?)

    HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\PCHealth\ErrorReporting

    ShowUi to 0

But that doesn't have errors like "The DLL initialization failed", in order to correct these you will need to fix (nothing to do in HKCU)?

    HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Windows

    ErrorMode in 2

However, I need all doing just that only through HKCU. Are there other means directly or indirectly disable all sorts of error messages, preferably by HKCU HKLM not?

Another question, if it is not possible to disable the other error messages, is there a way to make the machine close more quickly, so that the error messages are not shown while the machine stops.

    I tried on XP.

    HKCU\Control Panel\Desktop

    AutoEndTasks 1

    HKCU\Control Panel\Desktop

    HungAppTimeout 0

    HKCU\Control Panel\Desktop

    WaitToKillAppTimeout 0

It helped a bit but manages the error message is displayed, unless you set

    HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Windows

    ErrorMode in 2

but I need to make the changes through HKCU only.

  • How to unzip a file Adobe creative suite premium and continue the installation?

Since I finished the download of the zip, Adobe creative suite premium.zip, I can not unpack it by clicking on it.

whenever I double click on it, it produces another copy of zip file. How can I fill the download my purchased product?

    Hi dawn1028,

The Creative SuitePremium software has 2 parts download - one is the file zip compressed with the .7z extension and the second a file executable .exe.

You must download the 2nd part, i.e. the .exe file and run inorder to extract the contents of the 7z zip file and start the installation.

    1. remember the number of the update you have installed?

    3. Once you get this error message? Are you able to boot to the desktop?

    Method 1.
Please check if you face the same problem when recording in safe mode. It is a possibility that one of the non-Microsoft application or driver is causing this issue. Start in safe mode and make sure that us. If you are able to start properly in safe mode, we can perform a clean boot in order to find the root cause.

    Step A.

    b. when the computer starts, you will see your computer hardware are listed. When you see this information tap the F8 on your keyboard key repeatedly until you are presented with the screen Windows Vista Advanced Boot Options.
    c. using the arrow keys, select the desired option of Mode without failure.

    e. when Windows starts, you will be at a typical logon screen. Connect to your computer and the Windows Vista goes into safe mode.

I tried cloning from my hard drive with Clonezilla, and he gave me a bad sector error.  I have since run the hard drive test in bios and it passed.  Anyway, clone has failed, and now the original hard drive will not boot.  My dvd player won't turn when I try to load the Vista repair CD (Vista Home Premium 32 bit).  Clonezilla removes the start settings for the original disc?  And if so, how can I restore it?  The computer starts just a black screen with a cursor at the top left.  When I install the hard drive in a box and connect it to another computer, it shows the partitions and files all seem to be there.

Clonezilla is not supported by Microsoft.

If you are unable to boot from the Vista repair disk then you will need to go into the system BIOS and make sure that it is configured to boot from the DVD drive.
