  We launched our application in November of last year. It is available on App World and our customers were downloading it very well so far.

  One of our customers sent us a few days ago an email asking how they could 'push' our application to their employees through their Blackberry Enterprise Server. I've never worked with before BES and had no idea what they were talking about.

  I asked them if their blocked policy used to download apps from App World and unfortunately they said yes.

  Now, during our beta-test phase, I had our testers download from our server by linking to our .jad file. Could this be the same design for better?

  How the client business "grow" our application to their employees? Do I have to send them our COD files?

  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  There are a few options that the company might use:

  (1) to grow in fact the customer request would need the COD and ALX files (note, not brother COD files [ending-# .cod] but together main COD files). They can index the latter on their BES and push them to a subset of employees.

  (2) if the company uses BES 5.0.3 then they can actually afford to App World and only allow certain applications to be accessible. This may be a better approach, because it does not require the developer to provide the COD and ALX files, will the upgrade path normal app and will be much easier to maintain for both parties.

  However when I run the Setup, I get the message that the Assembly StaticContent is missing. I saw in the installation guide that this Assembly is in Oracle Hyperion Enterprise
  File Performance Management System Release contained additional 11.1.2.1.0 but I can't find this OTN file, nor on delivery!

  There are a few applications that you simply cannot remove. You CAN'T delete the apps that you have installed yourself (or snap). Please try

  1. with the help of the system setting:

  b press settings,

  (b) touch applications

  (c) maintain any application, it displays the information of the app,

  (d) you can delete apps with uninstall option

  2 using the app 'Own master': using Google Play/store to search for this app and install to your tablet. You can see a few options when open this application.

  I'm just frustrated.

  I have a child of 12 years and a house full of i-products.   The problem arises because I want to allow him to use a planning application and some other apps education during school time, but not the games and the wifi and so on.     We got the House and I would continue to allow the use of the i-device to school, but it doesn't seem to be an app that will enough allow me to the things of the lock upwards.    I don't have the time to constantly monitor, it's ridiculous.

  You can add an ApplicationMenuItem to the phone application which can happen in its run method.  Please note that there is a problem in the 4.3.0 release where this does not (null is passed instead).

  The problem of null is passed by an ApplicationMenuItem in the phone app is solved in BlackBerry handheld software version 4.5.0.  This issue was present in version 4.3.0.
