  This occurs when you update Thunderbird and not lightning. There are matching version that should be running. Missing the info from what version you have I can only suggest do you to add ons page and get the correct version of the lightning.

  • Click Start
  • Click on run
  • Paste it into the Open box: %SystemRoot%\System32\rundll32.exe shell32.dll, Options_RunDLL 1
