Convert MPEG - 4 AVC Apple Prores 422 files?

MPEG-4 AVC files have been saved by the A7RII although put to AVCHD. Only VLC and RGB will open these files but none will run a batch conversion. Is there a software/plugin that reformats these files for use in FCP7?

  • Convert MTS to Apple ProRes 422 HQ to compressor

    Hello

I started using Final Cut a couple of days.

I'm considering the purchase of compressor for batch-export out of Final Cut Pro X, but I was wondering if the compressor can also be used to convert the MTS to Apple ProRes 422HQ files prior to importation in FCP for editing, or is it a tool to export only?

If the encoding cannot be done with compressor, which conversion program are all the cool kids using these days?

I worked with the native MTS files to FCP. It's not as bad than I expected, believing he was close-on impossible to work with MTS removal a few years at my time of Premiere Pro. However, if I can speed up my work flow AND reduce slightly the size of the file, that would be great.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks in advance.

CCompressor could not be opened the .mts files.

IF you have some .mts files to test, you should try EditReady.

I don't think that you can reduce the file size more your .mts files are probably, but I guess it depends from whence they came.

  • Adobe Media Encoder CC: Is that I can export to Apple ProRes 422 on a Mac?

    Hi people,

I tried to find some information about it, but couldn't really find a definitive answer on this.

Unfortunately, my Mac is set where we are talking, I can't try this either...

I want to convert the mxf files (XDCAM HD 422 1080i 50, 50 Mbit/s with multiple Audio channels) to Apple ProRes 422 using Adobe Media Encoder CC.

Simple question: is that possible or I need to look for another workflow/converter?

    Thanks for your help!

    PS: The OS is Mavericks...

    Sure.

Use the QuickTime exporter, and then choose the ProRes422 Codec in its drop-down list.

  • Download Apple ProRes 422 Presets first

If anyone knows anything about downloading presets Apple ProRes 422 first, so you can actually use them in a project as a parameter of sequence?

    I can download them here: http://www.Adobe.com/support/downloads/thankyou.jsp?ftpID=5411 & starts = 5030

But I don't know how to actually get in first?

The files that you downloaded is pertinent to CS6. If you are using an older version of CS6 of Adobe Media Encoder then:

    1. download and unpack desired predefined packages

    2. start SOUL

    3. in Panel Preset browser, click on the button import Presets and select desired presets (excerpts)

  • Is it possible to ingest 1080 p, video AVCHD 60 p in Apple Prores 422 while keeping 1080 p?

I just finished a shoot which consisted mainly of filmed at 60 p, 1080 p.  I'm shooting AVCHD on a Panasonic GH3.  I am looking for transcode my footage in Apple ProRes 422 LT while maintaining my resolution and 1080 p 60 fps frame rate.  However, the only 60 p option I see is in 720 p.  Is there a way to keep my footage 60 p in 1080 p as Apple's Prores?

I usually shoot in 24 p without problems swallowing, then this company 60 p is alien to me.  All advice is appreciated.

    Thank you.

If you open Adobe Media Encoder and click on "RESET" then "create Preset" you can create your own custom preset ProRes. Simply choose "QuickTime", then a presets ProRes that's closest to what you want (Apple ProRes 422 (LT) - HD 1080 p 29.97 for example). Then go down to the "basic video settings" and change the pace at 59.94 or 60. This new preset will appear the next time you open prelude. I hope it works for you.

  • Where is apple prores 422?

    Hi all

    I need your help please.

I bought a new macbook pro and installed Speedgrade. However, in the output module I can't find the option to export the calendar to Apple Prores flavors.

Don't know if it's relevant, but I installed SG first, while Final Cut Pro X. should I did it the other way around?

The problem is that I'm in the middle of the ranking of a project of 10 min and I just realized that I don't have these codecs for delivery to the customer.

Worst case is that I'll pass the SG in my old Mac Pro and export from there (where everything works well), but I'd rather finish my work on the laptop.

    Thank you

Download the codecs Proapp lasted Apple, update or reinstall, and then try again.

  • How can I play MPEG-4/AVC on WMP 11 files?

Can I download files from my T-500 HD SVC video Cam on my drive hard, but I can't read the files. Why? How can I solve this problem? I already tried several packs of codecs and had no luck.

    Help, please

    Thank you

Thank you. In fact, I followed the advice of some other people in this forum.

Regarding the VLC Player, it worked except that I didn't know how to get the player to move on my screen, so I could see the player everything. I could not see a part of it and the video and could not control the player (pause, stop, ff, rw, flight.)

So, I did the other Councils. I loaded the Haali Media Splitter and FFDShow. I was then able to play MP4 videos in WMP, and Windows Live.

    Thanks guys, it worked perfectly!

Now, I had to find a way to get these files to a DVD and be able to play in my flat screen via my DVD player.

Well natuarlly, creation of Windows DVD wouldn't add files! So I did some research and found a FREE video Converet. WinFX Video Converter on a Web site called www.geekydadssoftware.com completely FREE and without WASTE! They have other nifty programs for users of windows who are absolutely FREE! It was a little slow (3 hrs. convert 56 min. MP4 video) but it worked perfectly!

Now I have all that I had to do was find the converted files (found in the Documents) and add them to Windows DVD Maker and VOILA! I have now all 30 video MP4 converted and burned to dvd and they play on my normal dvd player, my Blu - ray player and my computer in windows media center.

I thank very you much for all the help.

  • Mounting Apple ProRes Footage in CS5.5

I got some pictures of another customer who was shot with JVC's HD camera - using the XDcam codec - but they no one converted the video to Apple ProRes 422.  I have these clips on an external hard drive.  What is the best way to import these files into first and edit with them?

    Apple QuickTime ProRess 422 LT 1920 x 1080 29.97 FPS.

It seems the XCCam HD422 1080 p 30 a similar video settings - it would be the best way to bring it?

As long as you have installed QuickTime, simply import the files - Premiere Pro will be no problem with them.

Strictly speaking, you can edit your videos in any predefined sequence that has the same general parameters like images without problem; in fact, you can edit your images in any order, but suppose you want to match at least of things like the size of the image and the pace. You can use one of the existing presets (like XDCAM preset), you can create a custom preset (click the settings tab in the dialog box new sequence and set the "Custom" Editing Mode), or you can simply drag your film to the button new item at the bottom of the project Panel. This will create a sequence that corresponds to your images.

    Like this:

On a side note, if you can get the original film, Premiere Pro will handle natively - is not serious if he was MP4 or MOV, Pr will be important and works perfectly fine with both.

  • Unable to log and transfer of media files ProRes 422 MOV in FCP 7.

The log window and transfer in final cut PRO 7 said my multimedia files to Apple ProRes 422 (in a .mov container) are "unsupported" and I'm unable to import. This is after I've used MPEG Streamclip to convert original h264 video files to Apple ProRes 422. I shot with a Canon 5 d Mark II. I missed something?

Do not use TYou log and transfer. It's for the camera Med.

  • MXF to ProRes 422

A client gave me a car that they got their cameraman. I need to get the files in Apple ProRes 422 for editing, but I don't know to use ClipWrap, Mpegstream Clip or XDCam transfer... or else.

Each file is a map and includes a series of folders: Clip, icon, Proxy, Audio, video, voice of the Audio and video files are. MXF.

    Any help would be great!

Looks that they shot Panasonic P2... it's the structure of files in this format.  None of the mentioned converters will not work.  To do this, you use standard old LOG AND TRANSFER files... even inside FCP.

Now... If they shot that has been saved as DVCPRO HD P2... which will come only in DVCPRO HD.  Cannot be imported as ProRes... the only option you have is DVCPRO HD... but it is a conversion without loss.  If they shot AVCIntra, then you can bring it like ProRes. In the journal and transfer of preferences (menu sprocket in the interface of log and transfer), there is a place to choose which format ProRes import AVCINTRA as. NOT AVCHD... AVCINTRA...

    Michael,

Thank you for your response. After the call to Adobe and them telling me that this is a known issue and return to CS6 prelude, which offered clips without audio. I went in first to transcode and was curious to know if I set the preset it would it appear as a prelude, instead of using Media Encoder for do and alto ' it worked.

I got work around it.  Versions of that I use are the following: Prelude CC is v1.0, Media Encoder v2014.2 build 8.2.0.54 and Premiere Pro v2014.2 build 8.2.0 (65)

So thank you in any case, and for those who need the solution here is one.

  • How to add a ProRes 422 audio 5.1 with Lrti audio file to the script with audio mapping even?

    Hi all

I have a file of format ProRes 422 (1080i 29.97) with 5.1 audio with Lrti. I can't add it to a sequence with the correctly mapped 5.1. I have great difficulty with the LFE channel. Although audio (wave monitor display it), I don't get anything out of this channel. In addition, my center channel seems low. The map should be the following: left, right, Center, LFE, LS, RS as well as the stereo down mixes Lrti. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I never did work quite like that, but I'll try this for your sequence settings:
