How to get rid of scam the system of PC power speed optimizer
This program showed on my computer recently. I did some research and it seems to be something that I don't need that drives me to pay for his service (clean registry problems) or there malware. I followed the instructions to ininstall this (click on programs, registry mechanic, PC power speed and uninstall). I got the message that I had uninstalled it successfully. I now get warning messages again for this program and the icon appears in my bar menu at the bottom of the screen. I went into the program again and 'registry mechanic' is again with the four elements of menu below: a link to the homepage of PC, a beginning of link, a guide for this program and a link "uninstall." I clicked on 'uninstall', but the following message: Messages file "C:\Program Mechanic\unins000.msg Registry" is missing. Fix the problem or get a new copy of the program. "I have never installed this in the first place is certainly suspicious. Help, please! Thank you
Download, install, and run a full scan of the system with these two elements (free version):
Delete everything they find.

How to get rid of fonts (secure system)?
For some strange reason, that my Windows 7 has a huge list of fonts (~ 200), which I can't read, half of many I don't even know the name of the language! So far that hasn't bothered me a lot, but Word apparently detects and offers these fonts do my lists of selection of unusable fonts of the rather long and tedious to use. And what's more annoying: it generally offers one of these strange fonts as default and so ALWAYS forces me to click and scroll...
I started to remove some of these fonts, but for many, I get an error message indicating that these are fonts protected systems. How can these fonts system fonts when I can't read yet? How to unprotect these and get rid of them?
Or is there at least a way to hide them, so that they don't mind any longer?
Michael
fonts are part of Windows and delete can cause failures. For the issue of Word, you should post in the Forums Office, rather than trying to delete the fonts:

I was recently given a hand computer (compaq I tthink) so I'm not clear about all the fancy stuff to the extent of the ect CPU... but I know it has windows xp pro. in any case, a friend used my computer and for some reason any felt the need to download a program called 7-zip. Now, my computer is screwed... In the start menu > all programs, everything has disappeared! And I can access the system restore in normal boot and safe mode, but the window remains empty, we never really gave me the opportunity to use it. Oh and I can't get online in normal or safe boot mod either, what can I do?
Original title: how to get rid of a virus on windows xp proremove a virus from windows xp pro
Hello
1. Why do you think that the computer is infected with the virus? See you pop - unwanted ups or odd behavior of all programs?
2 have you made any changes to the computer before the show?
3. did you run any online scanners to remove infections?
4. What is the antivirus installed on the computer program?
Method 1: Run a scan antivirus on your computer.
www.Microsoft.com/Security/Scanner
Note: If infections are detected during the scan, there is a risk of data loss because infected files will be deleted.
Method 2: Safe mode with networking
Step 1: Check if you can browse the Internet with success in Mode safe mode with networking.
Networking Mode safe mode starts Windows in mode safe mode and includes the network drivers and services needed to access the Internet or other computers on your network.
A description of the options to start in Windows XP Mode
Step 2: Put the computer in a State of boot is a way to know which application is causing this problem.
To help resolve the error and other messages, you can start Windows by using a minimal set of drivers and startup programs. This type of boot is known as a "clean boot". A clean boot helps eliminate software conflicts.
Put your boot system helps determine if third-party applications or startup items are causing the problem. If so, you need to maybe contact the manufacturer of the program for updates or uninstall and reinstall the program.
Step 1: Follow the steps in the link below to do the same thing:
How to configure Windows XP to start in a "clean boot" State
Note: After troubleshooting, be sure to set the computer to start as usual as shown here:
Step 2: To configure Windows to use a Normal startup state
After you have used the boot is a way to solve your problem, you can follow these steps to configure Windows XP to start normally.
- Click Start and then click Run.
- Type msconfig and click OK. The System Configuration Utility dialog box appears.
- Click the general tab, click Normal Startup - load all services and device drivers and then click OK.
- When you are prompted, click on restart to restart the computer.
Method 3:
Create a new user account and verify if you are able to access the program in the start menu.
Try to connect with a different user has administrator rights account and then create a new user account.
For more information, see these links:
How to create and configure user accounts in Windows XP
How to copy data from a corrupted to a new profile in Windows XP user profile
I hope this helps.

Hello
Follow these steps and check if that helps.
Step 1:
I suggest you to reset the updated Windows components and check if that helps.

Therefore, make sure that you proceed with caution. For added protection, back up the registry before you edit it. Then you can restore the registry if a problem occurs. Yes, this popup is annoys me no end! It appears each time I fill in a password anywhere! It is more or less said: "Do you remember this password?". first of all I didn't know what program did this, but now I know that it is Mozilla Firefox. Why so many of (and undesirable too) want to pop-up windows to 'help' when in fact what they do is irritate the person and not even identify the program. It is a parody of the worst kind! You do not?
If anyone knows how to get rid of it forever, please let me know? Thank you very much! Adelaa
If you want to just disable this for a specific domain, you can click the drop-down list and click "never for this site". Otherwise, you can go to the Security section of the firefox preferences (enter ' subject: preferences #security ' in the address bar) and uncheck "remember passwords for sites".

How to get rid of the new menu button on the right side of the toolbar
Honestly, I don't know why the developers cannot offer new features that we can use or not, by choice. Instead, things are forced upon us.
Could someone tell me please how to get rid of the new menu button on the right side of the toolbar?
It doesn't seem to be an option to remove via the Customize Toolbars window.
Thank you very much.
CTR extension makes Firefox customizable menu button 3 bar, so you can drag this button in the palette to customize to remove it from the Navigation toolbar.
Reload and stop probably combine only if you set the two buttons in the correct order (reload - Stop and non-Stop - Reload)
