  If the images are all anchored objects, you can use find/replace to find the anchor point and change the paragraph style only once for all paragraphs.

  InDesign has unfortunately no feature to allow a rule to scale depending on the height of a paragraph. You could use a very short, very thick section NET and a style for each length of line for your definitions. This will mean proofing text in order to ensure the right model is used throughout. The text, the width of the column or the editing style can easily cause the number of lines to change in several paragraphs, proofing will be crucial. This method will also depend on the width of a coherent column. If the width of the column varies somewhat, new styles will be necessary.

  You can also use a picture for your definitions. Add a column beside the column of main text for bars, makes it as close as you want the bars to be, then fill it with the color of the line. That the text grows or shrinks, the line height is more or less narrow, forcing the line to keep to the desired height. Place text will be more difficult that way, but adjourned for lengths of line won't be necessary.

  Simple question. New to JS script here (but so far love it).

  I am trying to apply a paragraph (myTextStyle) style to all paragraphs in a story.

  Right now, I set it up as follows:

  tabletDocument.pages.item (0).textFrames.item ("story").paragraphs.item (0) .applyParagraphSty (myTextStyle, true);

  Obviously, it's just the first paragraph - item (0)-, but no changes to the code it throws.

  Can I implement something to it or a beach (first to last), so it will apply to all of them?

  You are confused index and position.

  What you want is:

  var int position = tf.interactionManager.anchorPosition;     It is a position not a clue

  var sheet: FlowLeafElement = tf.findLeaf (position);     map a location on a sheet

  var para: ParagraphElement = leaf.getParagraph ();     find the element leaf to own paragraph

  Also consider whether you want the anchorPosition or the activePosition.  In a selection of points, they are the same.  In a block selection, the anchor is where the block began and the asset is the end changed the user interface (by dragging the mouse and keys).

  Hello! I just started to use IDs through creative cloud on a new computer (using CC CS6 for two years), and the installer gave me rather than CS6 CC2014. So it is a question only on CC2014.

All these things were easy to find in CS6, but I can't find them in CC2014.   There is no option under Type of paragraph Styles.

  Using the options all point me back them to the entrance for CS6 and tell me to go to Type > paragraph Styles (which does not exist).

  I can't get a window up on the main screen to instantly apply styles in a list. I only get this drop, which has no other options.

  Can someone tell me some updated guidance or explain where all paragraph options are and how do I use them? If not, can I go back to CS6? It was easy and intuitive on the front, and now it's not...

  Nothing has changed on the styles. It's exactly the same thing as CS6. Perhaps you need to restore your preferences.
