How to get Vista after installation of XP?

I got my laptop and it had Vista Home Premium pre-installed.

I installed XP on it and XP was not fine with my laptop, so I need to get him back because the drivers etc.

But I have no disk Vista but I have a serial key on the bottom of the laptop.

May I ask where you bought this laptop?

AFAIK all laptops come with the Toshiba Recovery CD. It s not a Vista CD but a Toshiba CD/DVD image.
The image of Toshiba contains the Windows operating system (XP or Vista), Toshiba drivers/tools/utilities and additional software.

If you want to retrieve the Vista on your laptop, then retrieve the machine with the recovery CD and you will get the laptop with factory settings

  • How to get Vista 64 Bit from Toshiba Qosmio F50 - 10K-

    Hello

    A few days ago, I bought Qosmio F50 - 10 K but with Vista Ultimate 32 Bit.
    It does not satisfy me
Does anyone know how to get Vista Ultimate 64 Bit from Toshiba?

This version has been developed for the Poland, but in this country there is no office representative or something like that. There are only distributors or shops who import laptops of distributors abroad.

    Hello

    You won't get a Toshiba 64-bit Vista.
What you can do is to buy the operating system Vista 64 bit full, original and reinstall instead of Vista 32-bit, which is already installed on your laptop.

I think 64-bit drivers for Toshiba Qosmio F50 Vista can be downloaded from the European driver Toshiba page!

  • How to get Vista Home Premium recovery media?

I need to know if theres any websites to download the relocation of the disk for vista home premiumif anyone nows could you let me know please.

    No.; It does not exist.

Vista recovery media obtain and/or use the Partition Recovery Vista on your computer to the factory settings .

There is no Vista free download legal available.

Contact your computer manufacturer and ask them to send a recovery disk/s Vista set.

Normally, they do this for a cost of $ small.

In addition, ask them if you have a recovery Partition on your computer/laptop to restore it to factory settings.

See if a manual provided with the computer or go to the manufacturer's website, email or you can call for information on how to make a recovery.

Normally, you have to press F10 or F11 at startup to start the recovery process...

Another way I've seen on some models is press F8 and go to a list of startup options, and launch a recovery of standards of plant with it, by selecting the repair option.

Also ask them if it is possible to do the recovery disk/s for the recovery Partition in case of a system Crash or hard drive failure.

They will tell you how to do this.

Every computer manufacturer has their own way of making recovery disk/s.

Or borrow a good Microsoft Vista DVD (not Dell, HP, Acer, recovery disk/s etc).
A good Vista DVD contains all versions of Vista.
The product key determines which version of Vista is installed.

There are 2 disks of Vista: one for 32-bit operating system, and one for 64-bit operating system.

If install a cleaning is required with a good DVD of Vista (not HP, Dell recovery disks):

At the startup/power on you should see at the bottom of the screen either F2 or DELETE, go to Setup/Bios or F12 for the Boot Menu

Go to your Bios/Setup, or the Boot Menu at startup and change the Boot order to make the DVD/CD drive 1st in the boot order, then reboot with the disk in the drive.

  • How to get Vista Solitaire to work in Windows 8

I just buy a new Dell laptop with Win 8 as the operating system.  I don't really like for new versions of Solitaire that I downloaded from the Windows store.  The computer that I replaced had feeding problems (not light) so I removed the hard drive and use it as an external hard drive for the new machine to win 8.  I would like to upgrade the version of Solitaire Vista (which I paid for) on the new computer Win 8.  I tried to copy the folder Solitaire and files and also the file cardgames.dll, but can not get the program to run.  Anyone know how to get the old version of Solitaire under Win 8?  I like the old version, because he gave you the statistics you can reset at any time running.  Too many constraints in the new version or the collection of solitaire programs Ms.  Since I don't have a legal copy of Vista solitaire it bugs just me I can't use it.

    Thank you

    Jerry

Microsoft has removed these Windows 8 games by design. But it can be downloaded and installed from here: http://forums.mydigitallife.info/threads/33814-Microsoft-Games-for-Windows-8.  They set up flawless and run the same on Win 7. Hope this helps and if you have any other questions or post questions and we will be happy to help you resolve

  • How to remove modules after installation

    Salvation;

Picture this please, you are installing r11 and while you do install on Lisence Produts step you click on Finance, logistic etc... modules and then you complite your wihtout installation no problem.

After installing functional person comes and begin to make their installation on EBS for all modules that is installed... After sometimes they notice the client needs no module logistics, client side give bad information on the modules and the person who did the EBS installation click logistics with false customer information.

    The question is:

    1. we can remove modules after installation?
    2. is it best way to make new facility (Imagine functional is working already more than 2 months, if we do a new installation its average we lose 2 months)
    3. If we can delete it can affect other module configurations?

    Thanks for the tips

    Concerning
    HELIOS

    Hello

    1. we can remove modules after installation?

    Laughing out loud

    2. is it best way to make new facility (Imagine functional is working already more than 2 months, if we do a new installation its average we lose 2 months)

It would be a new installation or restore a backup to a point before that this module has been authorized.

    3. If we can delete it can affect other module configurations?

There is no direct way and supported to achieve this. However, you can connect an SR and see if Oracle can help about this.

  • Satellite P300D Pro - how to get Vista business after Ulimate upgrade?

6 bought weeks ago my first laptop - Toshiba Satellite Pro P300d 21F - it came with Vista preloaded Business. I could not use Windows Media Center, so I bought the upgrade to Ultimate. Big mistake because all my Toshiba set up has now gone - no internet, no Norton, no use of DVD (apparently my graphics card has a limited capacity) and all my software loaded - Toshiba and the rest is now gone - but it apparently is in a directory called the old Windows.

If I had known that a little upgrade would be so upset I would not have been worth it - so the question of the attack, it is how to cancel the apparently unduable and return to mental health with the Business version and no library.

Thanks in advance for any help

    Hello

All Toshiba laptops come with preinstalled recovery Toshiba disk creator tool.
You can find a shortcut on the desktop when you start it or the first time.

It s is strongly recommended that you create this recovery disk because it allows you to restore the system again.
    Have you created this disk?

If this isn't the case, you can check if your HARD drive recovery option still works.
To do this, start Notepad, and then press F8. Then an advanced boot menu should appear.
Here you choose the first option called fix my computer.
In the new window select Toshiba Recovery.
This would begin the recovery procedure and install again the image of Toshiba.

  • How to get CC after the installation of CC2014

Here at work all our workstations have been upgraded to CC when that came out. CC2014 then when THAT came out. Since then, we have added a new workstation and it seems we can only install CC2014 on it and not the first CC version. We work with many versions on a daily basis (all CS3: CC2014), so we have to CC on this workstation as well. But when you go to the creative cloud Panel is simply not available.

Get off at the Cloud Desktop App Designer. Click the Apps scroll up until you see the filters & Versions (or applications) on the right. In the menu choose the previous Version.

  • How to reinstall Vista after installing Linux?

Once tired of these multiple Vista Home crashes that I decided to install Linux (OpenSuse). Although a capable OS, I need some windows software and want to restore Vista on this machine. I have the system restore partition, but when I try to run it, it gives me an error. Apparently Windows no longer recognizes the MBR as it has been recreated by GRUB.

I don't have a Windows Installer disk, just the installation of system restore (F11).

Is there a bootable utility I can get to delete the Linux partitions, recreate the C: drive * and * difficulty the MBR? After that, I think I can use the system restore.

    Any advice greatly appreciated.

  • Satellite L300. How to restore Vista after replacing HARD drive?

This hard drive died a week after I bought the laptop just for a month ago.

Then, I favour toshiba wrote and said that it be fixed in the rehabilitation of specific local store.
Then store made me a new hard drive, so the files have disappeared.

There is not any operating system is installed there, and I was not even trying to create a before recovery disk.
To restore the system to the L300, it must use its recovery disc, as soon as I hear?
The original system is vista. When I tried to insert a xp disc, it showed error after all the loading "stop: 0x0000007b...". »
Could someone tell me how to handle?
    Thank you very much!

    > There is not any operating system is installed there, and I was not even trying to create a before recovery disk.
Bad, bad. Buddy. Generally, you need to create the recovery to the first disk using the laptop.
T did not read the user manual? Didn't you see the reminder?
It s always recommended to create the recovery disk!

    > I've heard to restore the system to the L300, it must use its recovery disk, right?
Yes, you are right. In order to restore the Vista, you must use the recovery disc!

    > The original system is vista. When I tried to insert a xp disc, it showed error after all the loading "stop: 0x0000007b...". "Could someone tell me how to handle?
I think that it does not work because of controller SATA HDD.
Either you'll assign compatible SATA mode (in BIOS)
Or you must include the Windows XP SATA drivers.

Check the HowTo of this forum area to get some details how to integrate the SATA (AHCI drivers) in Win XP.

  • How to get Vista 32 bit back?

After getting a Trojan horse I had to use recovery media. Only the supplied stand is a Toshiba Vista Home Premium 64-bit recovery media. After having used these disks and restore a healthy system, a number of programs that will not charge. I can only assume him comes from the portable computer that has 32-bit and restore disks were 64-bit. Why would it be so and how can I get a 32-bit system back so that I can load my programs?

    Hello

It will be interesting to know what model of laptop you have exactly. Please post the exact model laptop.

In General, every Toshiba laptop model comes with 32-bit Vista OS. You are 100% sure you've got the 64-bit operating system?

  • Satellite Pro A300D - how to get Vista drivers

I bought a Toshiba Satellite Pro A300D laptop a few days ago.
The first task was to wipe Vista Home Premium there and put professional Vista I needed to connect to a domain.

I did this and then install the drivers from the Toshiba driver download pages.
There were a lot of riders who have failed, but I managed to fix most of the problems aside when I display the laptop to a projector, I can start cutting the bottom of the external display only.

In any case, I am now led to believe that there is recovery of HARD drive on the disk that could give me the right drivers that they have been installed at the arrival of the laptop.
How can I get these out of the system on a disk for example so that I can resinstall?

    Thanks for your time.

    Hello

    > Anyway, I am now led to believe that there is recovery of HARD drive on the disk that could give me the right drivers that they have been installed at the arrival of the laptop. How can I get these out of the system on a disk for example so that I can reinstall?

I think that this is not possible because the recovery of HARD drive contains only unique image files and you will not be able to get only the unique drivers of the recovery image.

HARD drive recovery can be used to perform a new installation of operating system from the HARD disk (without using the disc).

The European driver Toshiba page usually contains all drivers Vista compatible and necessary for your laptop model. So I doubt that your problem with the projector might have something to do with the Vista drivers.

  • How to get Vista disks?

How do you get the records if they did not come with your computer? Obtained from Wal-Mart.

original title: disks of Vista, if not included?

There is no download free Installation of Vista discs - if they did not come with the computer, then you don't need them.  For the recovery disc for your system, contact the manufacturer (not Wal-Mart), who probably will sell them for you for a small fee.  They also sell a Vista installation disk authentic at a reduced price because you bought the machine - it depends on their mode of operation.  It is also possible that your system has the ability to create recovery discs if it has a recovery partition.  Yet once, you need to talk to the manufacturer of the computer - computer does different things each manufacturer (and we do not even know your manufacturer).

In short, you must contact the manufacturer for that matter.

    I hope this helps.

The original operating system with the laptop is Vista and I'm trying to install XP so that I change the size of the partition. Please help me to know how the original recovery system?
Notes: No there are no no action when I press f12 or f8 in XP but in the last time. I found repair Windows and new Vista recovery

    Thank you

    Hello

After installing another OS, you can retrieve only Vista if you start from the Toshiba Recovery disk and install the content. There is no disk HARD recovery option more, it means that the HARD drive recovery partition will not help you.
In addition the Windows RE partition has nothing to do with Toshiba, it s a Vista feature.

Then boot from the Toshiba recovery disc and will respond to factory settings! ;)
