  • How to import Apple Mail to Outlook 2015?

I just installed Office 2015 and I am trying to convert my Apple Mail files to Outlook 2015.  Mail Extractor Pro (as a trial) did not. Apple support has no documentation of Microsoft and has not been able to help. All my accounts (except one) are gmail, and configured in IMAP, so I'm more concerned with bringing more files I have saved locally on my computer.

I don't know of a way of moving files between Mac Mail and Outlook, how I've done before is to create some folder on the mailbox Gmail IMAP and Gmail allows you to transfer emails. It will then be it synchronized via connection Gmail which will allow you to take the mails don't want in the mailbox gmail on a local store of Outlook and delete gmail.

Mac and Outlook use a totally different way of local e-mail storage. The only thing that might work is to drag emails the deskop and drag them to Outlook? Not sure 100% if it will work, but it might be useful to give a go on one or two emails?

  • How can I transfer emails from Outlook to Outlook Express

I copied a few personal emails from my Outlook system at work. I did it by copying them on a USB stick and I think I must have used the tool "export". Now I want to put on my Outlook Express system at home, but I'm now sure how I can do this. I thought that I could use the tool "Import" but when I go to that there is no installation, as far as I can see, to import from a file and when I tried to import e-mails from Outlook, he said that this action was not possible. Help please! Thanking you in advance.

Outlook must be on the same machine as the OE for import/export of work.

Assuming that you still have access to work email, create a windows desktop folder. Open an Outlook folder and drag the messages into the folder on the desktop. (They will always remain in Outlook).

Copy this folder on your computer, open it and drag the messages into a folder in OE.

  • How to add a second e-mail from an address of bigpond account in Thunderbird?

I scoured my Mozilla Thunderbird's emails. My first email address ending by... bigpond.com and my second e-mail account is a bigpond address too. How can I add a second e-mail from an address of bigpond account in Thunderbird? No easy solution?

My guess based on the error message would be that they don't offer POP e-mail, and you must have created the new account as IMAP.

When you look at the original, working the account server settings indicate IMAP?

If Yes to delete the new account a recreate using IMAP instead of pop.

  • Why does'n Microsoft answer frankly in the exact steps how to save e-mail from Microsoft?

Why does'n Microsoft answer frankly and in specific steps how to save e-mail from Microsoft? (Outlook Express, Windows Live)

I stopped using Outlook express because it was impossible to save it on my hard drive since 1996 (what I could save was not readable...). Now, I have the same problem with: http://sn105w.snt105.mail.live.com/mail/InboxLight.aspx

You're talking about "Windows Live Mail" and "Windows Live Mail 2011" but there is nothing on the web explaining the differences between e-mail programs or Microsoft services.»

I went to the e-mail service, which is accessible via Windows Live in the hope that it will allow me to back - it up, nothing helped. Often, the instructions Microsoft give are impossible to follow mainly because 'links' to which the statement makes reference to do not even exist.

If is is not possible to email Microsoft backup, please tell people. Otherwise tell me please exactly how can I save my e-mail messages (how to make a full copy of everything including attachments).

I use "Windows XP SP3" and Windows "Live Messenger" as a point of entry to my email address.  There is no link to "Sync" on the pages!

It is very easy and well documented on how to backup OE files and settings.

    Susan.

There are different applications. It also depends on where (in which program), your contacts are backed up.

There is no "Google App Sync" that works with the latest versions of Outlook. I'm not sure if you can directly sync contacts with this app, or if it goes over google's servers.

For our phones, I used "MyPhoneExplorer". This app is free for PC and Android sync (not only) contacts directly between the PC software (Outlook, Outlook Express, Thunderbird, Lotus, MyPhoneExplorer internal) and some android devices. Either your tablet. Synchronization can be done via WiFi. Thap app comes also with own icons for tasks and notes, and allows to synchronize the calendar as well (if a calendar is present on the Tablet).

Don't forget to backup your PC Contacts before the first synchronization, however.
