  Change your preferences of Photos.

  You probably disabled the option "pictures > Preferences > General: import: copy items in the photo library.

  This option must be enabled, or Photos will reference just the pictures stored outside the library in their original location.

  For photos that you imported earlier, which are always referenced outside the library, select all the pictures, then use the command "file > consolidate" to copy in the library. After that, Photos will manage them.

  I do it all the time. Make your sequence of images in a separate folder for each passage, use a number like bg_0001.tif format, go it to file > import and select any file in the folder and check the box image sequence, and then import.

  In the example, the model has pictures so I guess it is possible, that I have no idea. If I import the image to the size of its supposed to be when printing it is of course too big to put inside the model.

  What leads you to believe this?

  As part of the print size, dimensions of the image are taken into account by the assigned resolution. If the images that you expect to be 8.5 x 11 seem to come in InDesign to a larger size, it may just be a question of resolution. After placing an image, check the information for its effective resolution Panel.

  Adobe removed this feature (and many others) of the new import in CC 2015.2 / 6.2.  They have apologized for that and for having introduced a large number of bugs, and in the next version they will be restoring the old import feature: Lightroom 6.2 version update and apologies, 6.2 Lightroom import update.

  Meanwhile, while you could try to solve the problems with 2015.2.1 / 6.2.1 I recommend return you to 2015.1.1 / 6.1.1 the last stable release: http://www.lightroomqueen.com/how-do-i-roll-back-to-lightroom-2015-1-1-or-lightroom-6-1-1/. Many people who have done so, and the same Adobe now recommends if you have serious problems (and you'll very probably).

  You put controls in the boxes of the image to import. First click on the button "uncheck the box all ' downstairs. Then, select the thumbnails of the images you want to import. And finally, click on the box in the upper left corner of one of the thumbnails. Who put the box in all selected images. How schedule you the updates of Windows in Windows 8 for awhile?  In Windows 7, I had this option.  Windows 8 is coming with updates of MASSIVE size and they are destructive my bandwidth.

  If you are remotely or broadband?   for a fixed price?

  Go to control panel > Action Center
  then
  Windows Update and then click "Edit settings" in the link to the left

  Look in the "Major updates" block
  and look for a blue link "updates will be...". installed in the course of the maintenance window"
  Click it
  The next screen shows a block of Auto Maintenance
  Inside, there is a line (with menu drop-down) to select the time that windows update is to run.
  Make your choice.   and apply the changes.
