• How can I create CSS for the editable regions in the documents based on templates?

  I created a template in Dreamweaver CS4 by using their set of 3 columns, header and Footer option available. The model works fine in the browser. I inserted an editable region in the empty middle of the model column. I created a new page based on this template and want to be able to format the text that I entered in the editable using CSS. Any time, I try to create a new CSS rule I get the following dialog:

  Do not know what is the 'id' of the middle column, but you must target the text inside that

  The tip is stop created with the css dialog box in DW, it's a load of bollocks and started writing some simple css directly in the page itself. It is easier and gives you more control than any interface automated half cooked in the oven.

  Does anyone else have this problem? I use webhelp with contextual sensitivity, and I appeal to the table of contents, Index, search, and glossary to display. If I go to the welcome home page, they are exposed. But when we ask for help on a particular page, these areas are not shown, but they can be opened using the view link. I much prefer to see the exposed left pane, rather that ask the user to click on this link. How can I do this?

  Maximum file size is configurable up to 2 GB. No limitation on the file type from the data store itself, but if you want to process binary file list filter suported file formats will apply (see the appendix in the Administrator's guide)

  The question, I suspect that you see this as a robot - you expect to provide the address of an FTP site and have it look for all documents. This isn't how it works. Instead, you must place all of the URLS in a table, and text will index these URLS (and only these URLs)

  If new files are added, you must reorganize somehow having the new lines added to your table. Then the text will do an incremental update, it will not have to rebuild the entire index.

  It varies a lot depending on the data types and indexing of selected options, but a typical result is that the index will be 40% of the total size of the file. However, if the documents are in the format (for example, Word, PDF) the percentage will be much smaller.

• How can copy text from a PDF file in the right order?

  I get texts translation of customers in PDF files. I need to copy some of the text of these files in Word, but the selection of Adobe jumps tool documents around, seemingly at random, sort of paragraphs and lines from different locations on a page are automatically selected together. The tables are particularly bad. If I try to copy an entire file, receives yet more random order. For example, all the titles of the document can be gathered in one place. I tried various PDF conversion software. They put all the PDF content in the areas of text, which is not suitable for my purposes. I want to just copy the PDF files in the exact order in which they appear on the page in text form that I can handle in Word. I'm now up to version 9.3.0 and there has been no improvement. Is there a solution to this problem?

  I agree that by copying and sticky from PDF to Word maunally are really difficult and tedious work. I have encounterd this problem before. Fortunately the problem can be solved perfectly now. I recommend AnyBizSoft PDF to Word Converter, which is totally free for months before. This conversion mode supports three app - batch, partial, right-click conversion and it even supports encrypted PDF conversion, previously you must have legal rights. And the conversion quality is superb, all the original text, page, images and hyperlinks will be preserved in an editable word document. It is more useful than those software online for free. It will be useful.

  Looks like you know what you're doing.

  Assuming your child pages are incorrect, try closing DW and open the problem page in a simple editor like Notepad or Simpletext ascii text, add in the missing name values (remember to use the proper case) and save & close them.

  Then see if DW is happy.

• Cannot edit or view the document in design mode

  You can navigate to Edit > Preferences > select 'Read' in the categories and under "options" screen reader label select the drop down option "pages vs" menu and select "only read the currently visible pages" menu drop-down.

  What I really want to be able to do, it's automatically access the instance of any editable field in any (RIM / part 3) app that the user cursor is now. When the focus is on something that is not editable, then my menu item should not appear in the menu.

• AOL have diverted the search bar, deleted all the other engines and disabled the reset.

  I noticed that at some point today the search bar was reset to aol. I removed aol in the bar, but now there is NO option to search engine. All done malware also deleted all other options in search bar, disabled by default reset settings and seems to have deleted the folder of drive C search plugins. I tried an add-on to restore the default choice, but it didn't work. I tried to reset Firefox and a system restore. None worked. I copied the folder searchplugins from a backup, but that has not changed anything. I don't see a new Mozilla Firefox folder (34) as indicated in some other threads. I looked into: config and there are new things for aol it but I do not know how to remove them or what, if anything should replace them.
