How to install ICC profiles in Lightroom

This is probably an easy question, but I saw an obvious answer in Google.  I use ICC profiles when printing from Photoshop, but they do not appear in Lightroom.  Is there an easy way to install all my profiles in lightroom?

I use Windows 7. When I downloaded a profile and posting them on my desk, all what I have to do is right-click on it and choose install. She then appears in Lightroom. When the installation is complete, I can delete the copy of office.

All of a sudden I am not able to access the other ICC profiles in soft proofing mode or in the print job module. It does not list the last ICC profile that I used and I cannot have access to the 'other', the list of the largest. When I try Lightroom just hangs.

I know that the complete list of profiles is loaded into Photoshop and they appeared all when I select other profiles there. Any suggestions?

  • How to install the profile of lenses in Lightroom v5.7

    Hello

I use Lightroom 5 (v5.7) and I downloaded a profile of lenses using Adobe Lens profile Downloader. He said that the profile has been installed and I can see that a CRL file is downloaded to the following location:

    /Users/(User Name)/Library/Application Support/Adobe/CameraRaw/LensProfiles/1.0/Download/1.0

I moved the CRL file in a folder named Canon as follows:

    /Users/(User Name)/Library/Application Support/Adobe/CameraRaw/LensProfiles/1.0/Canon

But I still don't see the lens profile after restarting Lightroom.  I did nothing wrong, or move the file to the LCR in the wrong location?  Any help on this is much appreciated.

I figured out, and it was my careless mistake.  I downloaded the profile which is of type JPEG, RAW not type.  I downloaded the RAW type, and it appears in Lightroom.

  • Profile ICC settles in Lightroom

    Hello

I have Lightroom and Photoshop installed on my Windows PC of 10 CC.

When you try to load ICC profiles in print (or through the export option) module in Lightroom I get only the one who is my connected printer profile but not others. Strangely, when you print from Photoshop I can see the full list.

All profiles are saved in C:\Windows\System32\spool\drivers\color

When right click on a profile on drive C get a context menu with the option "install profile", however when I click on it nothing happens. Also, I think they must have installed since the show upward in Photoshop?

So far, I have uploaded a profile of a printing company and which has installed fine, and my Canon printer appears in the list of profiles, as well as all monitor profiles. I also tried to reinstall Lightroom, re-download the site of Adobe and the re ICC profiles - install (twice) with closed Lightroom. No chance with.

  • How to set the ICC profile in LR to be identical to PS?

    Hey Adobe,

. Why my images look much more dark and contrasting in LR (4.3) then they do on PS (CS6) where they have much more of the tonal range? I'm looking at side by side on the same screen. I know this has to do with the ICC profiles, but I can't find how you set that in LR. Any help would be appreciated. An example can be found here: http://mikedodd.co.uk/other/temp/Screen%20shot%202013-01-22%20at%2023.06.52.jpg you can see how much better the upper part (PS) image is

    Thank you

    Mike

This, again, I have the impression is a problem with the monitor profile, and a new calibration is in order.

Lightroom and Photoshop must display like any profile you send to Photoshop. They are both fully color managed and will convert any profile of the source on the appropriate monitor profile. In Lightroom, the source profile is its internal workspace (linear Prophoto), in Photoshop everything you set in Lr preferences under external editing.

In this case the PS version is obviously good. But if the monitor profile has a problem may arise in different ways in different applications.

  • ICC profile is no longer installed

All-in-One printer C6180, HP computer HP Desktop Pavilion P6000 Series, model P6710f, Windows 7 Professional 64 bit 6.1 (Build 7601) Service Pack.

Error (CCI profile is no longer installed)

I received error messages related to the HP Solutions software.  I've uninstalled and reinstalled the software downloaded from HP.  I didn't see no problem after installation, until I went to print an image in Adobe Elements 9, when I received an error: could not print because the ICC profile is no longer installed.  I first thought that the problem may have been related to the Adobe program so I uninstalled and reinstalled only to get the same error message.  Reading the information from Adobe on this problem, suggested the problem may be in the printer software.  I went to HP print and Scan doctor, is through the uninstallation and reinstallation of the AIO software and Solution Center software.  Checking the installation with doctor Scan once again, he said that a later version of the software is available, and whenever I try to download the latest version, apparently he won't take that after whenever I do that, I get the same page telling me that there is a newer version available.   When I skip this step and go to the test printer, everything also checks good.  I also went to a backup of my dll software, for the previous month, nothing helps.

I am for a quandry here about the absent ICC profile and hope that someone else has had this problem and a solution.  I've not found anything when I did a search on this forum.

    Hello @JoeSea,

I understand that you encounter the error "could not print because the ICC profile is no longer installed. As this is an error with Adobe I would advise you to ask for help on the General Adobe Photoshop Discussion Forum that you would have a better chance to find a solution.

I hope this helps. Thanks for posting on the HP Forums. Have a great day!
