  Inorder to know which update is the cause of the crash of the system, you can install the updates one by one. Firstly uninstall the updates that have been recently installed.

  Uninstall the update:

  1. click on start and type "update installed" in the searc box. Click on view installed updates

  2. right click on the update you want to uninstall. Once the uninstall is complete, reboot the computer.

  3. install the updates one by one.

  You would get to know what update is at the origin of the disorder. You can hide this particular update.

  Took me some time to find the answer on the microsoft site, but here it is.

  If Windows cannot find the dxdiag, version 5.0 program or an earlier version of DirectX is installed on your computer. If this is the case, download and install the latest version of DirectX.

  It seems that you could run Firefox 4 (our site shows me the version for questions). To check yourself, try this:

  Click on the Firefox button and choose Firefox.

  The page that appears will have the version number for your Firefox.
