  I ask because I'm not used to having as many files to a finished system. Compared to the single .chm file we create currently, one of our smaller projects alone created 4 subfolders and files a little more total 110 (htm, css, js, jpg, etc.).

  All output files are required only if you want the WebHelp to work for the end-user. So, if you don't care if it works or not...

  Seriously, do not ensure that all files are included. Some may seem superfluous, but all are needed to compensate for the differences in browser and browser configuration.

  And that's why I always refer to WebHelp output as "the swarm" of files.

When Canon is updating this firmware is it really only update the issues listed or are there other code updates are not? I was once a software engineer and we have classified the problems as A B and C. Where A functioning problems, B meant did not meet specifications, and it was nice to have. I am curious about the approach to maintenance of Canon. Do the fall list 3 problems in operational matters or spec and other patches have not been conducted. Or other improvements? Steve

What I mean is this: if I change the permissions to allow someone else to read and write in my files and folders, which prevents an unauthorized person by performing the same steps to access my files and folders? My question is about operating systems, I learn all that is Windows XP Pro and Windows Vista SP2.

  We currently do some Git automatisms in which developer all the working files will be updated automatically. However, the automation script should ignore a developer folder if CVI is open this folder. For example, suppose that there are three folders.

  You can use ActiveX automation to connect to an instance of the CVI delivery to find out what the current project.

  Once you determine that an instance of the CVI is running, you can then call CVI_ActiveApp If connect (look at the samples\activex\cvi\build.prj if you are not familiar with ActiveX automattion). The one caveat, it is difficult to control which instance of CVI will be used by CVI_ActiveApp, where more than one is running. But you can still use the CVI_AppGetCVIProcessId function to confirm that you have the right one (whatever that 'right' means, in this case).

  Once you have a connection, you can use CVI_AppGetCurrentProject.

What I would like to put the XML for the index.html file that sound on the server (so I can make changes without updating the app). I tried this and the page well but I m facing some problems:

  1. sometimes I get connection error and I have to close and reopen the App (which not´t happen if I put the file index.html inside package webwork).

  2º the blackberry feature does not work, for example when I want to capture the back with blackberry.system.event button... launching a blackberry not defined error.

  So, is it really necessary to put all the js + html inside the webworks packaging to make it work very well?
