  The Path object is not ineractive. You must add a component to a component that can be ineractive (as a group), then listen to click on events rather than the path.

  I'm prototyping a Flex in Fireworks CS4 application & have some pop up dialog boxes to display.  When they show the background should be blurred.  I know how to make them appear, but I can't get a nice blur effect that looks like the one you see in Flash.  I tried a transparent layer with different blur filters, but no aspect than realistic.  The information?

  Just go to the filters section in the property inspector Panel, first select your object on the Web (for example, the bottom), then click on the [+] sign sign in Filters > a small menu opens, select blur > Gaussian blur and change the value (0 = zero blur, 4 or more = a lot of blur). Later, you can change or remove the effect, which is good.

  I often use a Gaussian blur, especilly if I need make a blurry image...

• How can I convert my animated film in a video work that can be used with a new scene?

  First of all, I'M a TOTAL FLASH NOOB. I want to preface this and make new incredibly clear how it is for me. LITERALLY, I started using flash this morning; It is precisely the way the news I am.

  That being said, I will do my best to explain what I want to do.

  I've created an animation of a spider moving her legs back. I want to be able to combine all the layers in 1 simple animation that can be imported into new scenes flash with animation exactly how it goes. I figured out how to convert a symbol of the entire animation, AND I figured out how to import the clip to the library. However, it is my problem. When I open a new scene flash and import my animated movie, I play and there is no nothing. It's just the static image of the spider, I created with no movement.

  I spent the last two hours trying to figure out (and do my own research) what I did or did not to get to this point. I'd be willing to bet that I'll just on the wrong process and I am overlooking a facet of the program.

  Any idea to fix my ignorance is greatly appreciated.

  (P.S. Hell, I don't even know if I use the correct terminology as far as I know I'm confusing anyone who took the time to look at my question. If I use incorrect terminology please correct me to avoid a future hang ups. (Thank you.)

  I don't think you mentioned this aspect, or I just didn't read that way.  If your movieclip contains only a picture, then you did not create correctly.  It should include all frames and layers that shows your first screenshot (which is what I thought you showed because that's what I asked).

  Here's what you need to do.  Start by selecting all images and layers of this chronology that is supposed to be your animation.

  Then right-click the selection and choose copy image.

  NEX, create a new movieclip with Insert-> new symbol symbol-> MovieClip

  Then select the one and only key frames of the timeline within this new movieclip, right-click and choose Paste images.  This should now be a successfully created version of animation that you can place on a timeline.

  To get something closer to your example, I tried the combination (using Pathfinder > unit) a (copy of the) Hexagon with corners applied and the other with a small amount of bloat (effect > Distort & Transform > Pucker & bloat), to round off the coast.

  You can do this, and it would be an obvious way. White, in connection with printing (normal), means no ink.

  What I'm trying to do in this video is to get the floating Lumia 920 to think outside the office, but not the phone, not the recorded part of the office. I tried to apply a mask to a copy of the underlying sequence, but there is no option of position as soon as I did this.

  My method of getting what I got so far was to:

  1. follow the camera on the underlying images.

  2. choose a plane and set up the Lumia 920 text where I want.

  3. I have a couple of layers of light.

  4. for reflection, I duplicated the layer of Lumia 920 and played with the direction of the x-axis. Then I reduced the opacity to 15% and applied a fast blur.

  How can I get this thought to be hidden in certain regions and for the masks to go with the phone and taped part of the Office?

  Im a fool. I thought about it. I was trying to hide duplicates. I've got rid of the duplicate and just hide the layer of text itself.
