  I've seen some good tutorials shiny metal (gold) and beaten metal, but I don't remember not everything for the metal worn or grungy. If you have not been able to find a tutorial that can be because it's so easy to take pictures of real objects and use them as textures. There are also zillions of ready-made downloadable textures.  Is there a reason you need to do it from scratch?

  I learned about Textures and I was playing with different and so, I came across a great site with a lot of Texture files for download... http://subtlepatterns.com/paper-1/

  Well, the files are small for example: 38 x 38 and 76 x 76 and I have no idea how to create a larger image with these small images. In addition, they are in .png format... so what counts.

  What I read a Texture is a model... right? So, I searched the FAQ, manual, etc. for things like: how to make a great model, how to use a small file to a large model and so forth but I can't find the right info.

  Am I suppose to only be used to create a model of repetition? Can I do and make them be transparent?

  Just thought I would ask for help while I continue my quest for answers.

  In the meantime, I'm heading to the manual to learn more about the making of the bosses.

At the bottom of this associated menu is a color menu item. Click on that and a color picker appears.   Don't deselect this hyperlink which now has blue underscore. You will notice that the character Styles shows Link (black) in the selector. Click on and then click on the "BOLD" symbol to add a new style for your hyperlink Blue + Blue. You can be creative and just call it a blue link. This new character style is only valid in your current document. In the Format menu, select the Style of copy, and then select each black underlined hyperlink, you can select menu Format: Style block to date each other.

  Not yet done. If you want a permanent blue hyperlink in the v5.6.2, Pages then you will need to get it into a model for re-use. I suggest that you create a document by using the empty template, add your desired character, paragraphs and list styles and then save it under your own custom template empty.

  Well, the old (and still viable) is to create a section of the art, you want to become a model, and then add a rectangle "without filling or running' behind it, select both and then drag in the Panel"Swatch". This adds a shade of reason to the Panel. To change the model drag on the artboard, make changes and "Option + do drag ' it on top of the shade of existing pattern.

  From CS6 Adobe introduced the designer tool (object > template > make) allows you to see your boss that you design. You can also choose between several "Types of tile", allowing you to create more complex patterns more easily. It comes with some limitations (i.e., no symbol incorporated), but it's a great tool nevertheless. To change the model, simply double-click the swatch in the Swatch Panel.

  Combining models with layers of appearance allows you to create even MORE elaborate models, with much more depth.

I'm not a complete Newbie, but I still need help on simple stuf sometimes. The part that I'm stuck is when it's a "patch" of the texture in the driveway, and then it covers its explosive box. After that, he copy the box and is able to appear and disappear.

  Watch closely. He made a mask just below the box so that now he's just a layer which is just down the road. Then it will move this layer so that it covers the box.

  This isn't a very good tutorial on how to achieve this effect. There are a lot of better ways to do what he is doing.

  If you had FCP7, you have Quicktime 7 Pro (upgraded automatically at installation FCP7). Check your Applications > Utilities folder.

  Open the gif in QT7 and export as... (Sequence Quicktime Movie > Open Options)... might as well go with ProRes LT and make sure that you pay attention to the size option (select current if the original is 100%).
