  the XML itself - in other words, it was a full load XML

  The bookmarks toolbar has nothing to do with the Bookmarks Sidebar (on the left side of the browser window). {Ctrl + B} open/close the bookmarks bar. If you close Firefox with the open bookmarks bar, it should be open when you launch Firefox, next time. If it does not work like that in your profile file localstore.rdf file is probably damaged.

  When you type words in the address bar, Firefox will search using any motor is selected in the search bar. You can install a "Browse by name" or a "I m Feeling Lucky" search engine

  The reasoning was that 'Browse by name' and "I m Feeling Lucky" are far from perfect. Rather than risking to send users to sites that are not what they were looking for, it was decided that always show the results of the research was a better option.

  Question should be enough as it is. I can't find the Favorites file or folder in Firefox. I need to name the location (path) of these favorites for my SyncBack to see for backup. Currently, the backup program is pointed to Favorites of IE which have been imported successfully when I installed Firefox, but are now quite outdated. Another option would be to synchronize the two Favorites files that would be workable if Firefox crashes. Backup Favorites does not seem to be only a topic discussed a lot in all the help information. I was very happy with Firefox so far.

  Firefox stores the bookmarks and the browser history in places.sqlite and either use a HTML file or creates a backup of the HTML for the bookmarks.

  Firefox functioned very well at some point. After several upgrades he lost the feature so much that I need to go back to IE. However, I have added dozens of bookmarks, which are not in IE, so I need to switch back.

  A feature that has been lost:
  1, interactive for weather radar on websites as graphs (but not limited to) weather.com
  2. interactive graphics for graphs of trend of prices on the Google and Yahoo Finance websites
  3. cannot play videos on You Tube and other sites where they have embedded videos.
  4 were not able to right click to download videos on Real Player for a while.

  All of these features are always on IE.
