I have no idea what to do to activate windows in the back. Please someone I need your help, I got this lappy to a member of the family from abroad for 3 years now.

To analyze and solve problems for Activation and Validation, we need to see a full copy of the diagnostic report produced by the MGADiag tool (download and save to the desktop -http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?linkid=52012 )
Once downloaded, run the tool.
Click on the button continue, after a short time, continue button will change to a copy button.
Click the copy button in the tool (ignore the error at this stage) and then paste (with r-click and paste or Ctrl + V) in your message.

How to make windows require a password during the installation of new programs?

    Hello

You will not be able to circumvent the password that appears before the execution of actions (installing a new program) in a non administrator account.  If you are logged on as administrator, and again, you get the command prompt, you can disable UAC (User Account Control) to stop the password dialog window.

However, as a work around you can right-click on the installation of the program files and select run as administrator. Check if this is useful.

  • Question about make Windows 7 genuine?

Hi I have a 4530 HP's Probook which has Windows 7 Professional on this topic. I deleted the recovery partition and couldn't make it back so I went to digital river which is 100% free and legal Web site where you can download windows 7 as an ISO file. I did and I got Windows 7 Home Premium. So I downloaded the Home Premium ISO file and then I downloaded Daemon Tools Lite 4. And run the ISO on this software. It worked and now I have a new installation of Windows 7 Home Premium on my laptop now. But when I went to enter my product key a pop - up and says error product key you have entered will not work with this edition of Windows 7. You must run the installer of Windows 7 or enter a product key Windows 7 Home Premium.  So I went again downloaded Digital River Windows 7 Professional and he ran with daemon tools and it said that exactly this installation disc is not compatible with your version of Windows. To upgrade, you need the correct installation disc. For more information, see your computer's system information. To install a new copy of windows, restart (boot) your computer using the installation disc, and then select custom (advanced option). What is the correct installation disc and how to get out of this mess. I prefer not to spend money just to let you know but if I have to. Thank you.

Its sounds like you finally download the correct edition of Windows 7 for your machine (Windows 7 Professional), but its likely that you have downloaded the 64 bit version, which is not a problem. What you need to do is a custom starting from Windows 7 64-bit installation, cannot start the installer for a 64-bit version of Windows 7 32-bit version of Windows 7.

In other words, will not be able to facilitate the installation of Daemon Tools. You'll either need to burn the. ISO file onto a blank DVD or create a bootable on USB with 4 GB of free space.

Burn it to a blank DVD:

ImgBurn - supporting the creation of CD more. ISO files,

It supports a wide range of image file formats, and it's free.

(BIN, CUE, DI, DVD, GI, IMG, MDS, NRG, PDI and ISO)

    http://www.ImgBurn.com/

    http://NeoSmart.NET/wiki/display/G/Burning+ISO+images+with+ImgBurn

Note: Use always slower burning (4 x or 2 x) speed is offered a choice.

Create a bootable copy on a USB key:

Once we have the .iso file, they may want to use the Microsoft .iso to USB/DVD tool to create a DVD or bootable USB (requires a blank DVD or USB flash to at least 4 GB key).

    After preparing the installation media:

Boot from the Windows 7 DVD
    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/start-your-computer-from-a-Windows-7-installation-disc-or-USB-flash-drive
    Click Install now

    Accept the license agreement

When the option is displayed to select a type of installation, click (Custom advanced)

Select the disk partition where you want to install Windows 7 click Next.

You will receive the following warning:

The partition you have selected may contain files from a previous Installation of Windows. If so, these files and folders will be moved to a folder named Windows.old. You will be able to access the information in Windows.old, but you will be able to use your previous version of Windows.

(At all costs, do NOT click on anything in Format, deletion or Partition name.) So even do a custom installation, your personal files are still kept. Click OK

The installation program will now begin installation. During installation, your computer will be restarted several times.

Once the installation is complete, you can complete the Out of Box experience as the choice of your laptop, create a username, password, your time zone. You can then proceed to download the latest updates for Windows and reinstall your applications and drivers.

You can then retrieve your personal files from the Windows.old folder and reinstall all of your applications and drivers.

  • What makes windows not genuine OS?

I don't understand not what makes a non-genuine BONE. A pirated version of windows that is turned on and gets updates is genuine or not genuine? I have a friend who has a pirated version of windows 7 that is enabled and does not say that it is not authentic, and I want to know if he can get the upgrade to windows 10

    Hello Alexcs165,

Since your friend is using Windows 7, you can read the Article on Validation: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-my/windows/help/genuine/what-is-validation (you can send the link to your friend also)

A pirated Version of Windows cannot receive Windows Update option (except security) updates. For more information, refer to this Article: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows/help/genuine/faq
If you meant "Activated", is this a genuine product key purchased from Microsoft or is it generates by product key generator programs?

Your friend can get the upgrade to Windows 10 any if it is authentic or inauthentic by installing all the Windows updates available and there will be a Windows icon on the lower right of the task bar. For more information on Windows 10 upgrade, refer to this Article: http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/windows-10-upgrade

Your friend can do a clean install using only an ISO of Windows 10 file, but it will not work with the Windows 7 product key. To ensure that it remains enabled, use the Suggestion in the 4th paragraph

If the Windows 7 there is pirated Version and not activated, he can always upgrade to Windows 10 but it will remain as a pirated Version. A pirated Version of Windows can be changed for an authentic product by buying a product key for the Version of Windows and then activate it via the PC settings.

  • How to make Windows Media Player and Real Player STOP my each image stored in MS Paint - loading Vista

More specifically, when I open Windows Media Player or Real Player to view the photos uploaded from my cameras, players are full of 2,000

images, I stored in MS Paint.  I need these images in MS Paint for reference material for my work.  They are all the print screen shots pasted in MS Paint.

What I want, it's for Real Player and Windows Media Player to be used only to store the photos from my camera.  I don't want these other 2,000 images in there, because they make it very difficult to manage all 2,000 of them when looking to find photos of the camera that are much more limited.

So, basically, I don't want media players store these images of MS Paint.  And I hope that I do not need to delete one by one or in boots.  And I don't want to accidentally remove it from my computer.  I just keep them in the painting.     Please tell us how to proceed, if possible.

Media Player is not all image acquisition to import videos from cameras.

But let me clarify: Media Player also does not maintain a library index more (this is bad for performance).  When you browse through your photo library by clicking on the links on the left side of the media player, it's just browsing through files as if you open the window of your file and you click on the image on the left side of the library.  The two are different programs, but they both go through the same places as a folder view, so there is no worry about the index of the media player clog, because it is not a plus.

    Example:

Media Player does not index more, it uses just the file system.  If you right click and select properties of the picture library, this is where you control the locations it reflects in its scope.  It is not a folder (nothing can be stored "in"a library".  The circled "3 locations" is another way to access the same.
