  There are certain basics that one needs to understand to effectively manage key events:

  (1) touch events are sent to the field currently has focus and the enveloping managers, including the active screen.

  (2) default response of the system to the event down is to divert attention to the field to the position of touch If there is a focusable it.   I would use the new PDF Viewer integrated into Firefox 19.0 Beta to view local PDF from my computer. But when I try to open with Firefox, instead of opening it with PDF.js, Firefox gives me a dialog box asking "Firefox do with this file? It is not an option in Tools/Options/Applications to use default PDF.js, so, how do I use it for local files?

  I'm not on the same OS, but don't you have an option to preview in Firefox/Beta. You will need to disable the plugins PDF first.

  If you are able to see on the web pdf files ok I see no reason why it won't work on local files as long as you have the permissions to access the involved file path.

  You can follow the steps below and check if it helps you to see the pictures in thumbnail stored in the folder.

  a. Click Start.

  b. go to control panel and open Folder Options.

  c. click on the view tab

  d. uncheck the option "always show icons, never thumbnails".

  e. you can also check to see that there is a check mark in the box "Display file on the photos" and then click on apply and then click Ok.

  Now you should be able to see the thumbnail images in the folder.

  I don't think you can change the GUI of the CD player. at least I've seen no indication that this could be done.

  The only thing you can do is to uninstall the CD player, and then download and reinstall the version earlier than X or XI.
