How to manually forwarsd or port open for Blizzard Downloader to download a demo version of StarCraft II

title port forwarding: original manual

I want to use the Blizzard Downloader to download a demo version of StarCraft II.  I downloaded a 7 GB download for 4 days only to get to 99% and find that my download could not be authenticated.  They then gave me 3 things t do to overcome the problem.  I tried the first two and it does not solve the problem.  Finally, I should manually set port forwarding to allow 6112 tcp and UDP port and in.

I tried to do, but don't know how.  My PC security is managed by Norton360.  I have a Belkin Wireless adapter and a router Linksys wireless connected to my Internet source.

I was encouraged to pay $30 for a program that should automatically configure my ports... which was about the same amount that I would have to pay for a real record of customer in StarCraft II.  Ridiculous.

Any advice on the manual port forwarding task?  Not sure that this good place to ask, but invite you, anyway.

Thank you
