How to place a text box on an image in a specified location?

Hi all!

I am an intermediate user of Dreamweaver and try to learn the CSS I created my Web site.

My problem is that no matter what position specified I returned to the text box using the implementation of style, the results are far from what I'm looking for.

I built my website using tables and want to place the text box on an image that is embedded in a cell.

So, here's what I've done so far:

CSS stylesheet:

#abouttext {do-family: Arial, Helvetica, without serif;}     do-size: 16px;     make-style: normal;     make-weight: normal;     color: #FFF;     text-decoration: none;     background-color: #D0DF4A;     padding: 5px;     height: 260px;     Width: 180px;     overflow: hidden;     visibility: visible;     border: 1px solid #D9E46B;     right: auto;     bottom: auto;     z-index: 1;     resize: none;     position: absolute;     left: 331px;     top: 289px; } //below is the assigned div.

< div id = "abouttext" >

< p align = "center" > this text is enclosed in an < /p > box.gdsgsfgzfdgfg

< / div >

I know I'm missing something, and it's probably something to do with the investment. I don't get how to assign the up, down, left and right values.

Could someone please explain?

Thanks in advance!

Hello, I'm newer than you if do not have a go if it is nonsense - I tried!

But I discovered this week that to make the absolute position of the work the containg div must have the relative value.

I have a #container defined, div.  The #content div is then positioned compared to this div container using an absoulte position.  Move it around to adjust the position absolute - in my case I used left = 0 top = 0 to put it at the top left of the div container I used Panel click CSS styles on the div #content and there standing in live mode view - I can not yet write code.

  • How to change the text box in Acrobat XI, created by earlier versions of Acrobat

Hi, I'm having a hard time trying to figure out how to change a text box that was created in an older version of Acrobat and used to fill in a form.

In my case, I added text boxes on text pre-existing using an earlier version of Acrobat.

When I try to click on the text box, however, it seems to be back on the existing text and not allow me to change the text box I created in the past.

Try changing the text with the tool 'Add comment text' which is in the notes pane. The text used to complete the form may have been written as annotation, so when you try to change those with editing tools, the original text is being edited.

    Hi Donnas,.

Content-aware fill is your best friend in this case.

Just make a selection around the word and go to edit-> Fill-> Content-Aware.

This usually done a very good job.

Then you can either return to it several times (maybe in smaller sections) with Content-Aware fill to clean it, or you can play with the Spot Healing Brush tool (J) or the tool clone stamp (s).

I try inserting the letter A in this triangle. I don't want to type inside the triangle because the words are not reach corners. Instead, I want the triangle cut around one. So if I place A in the corner, I want the own to be at the front. Who is? I tried to do it for 2 hours. Frustrated

You want to hide the 'a' by the triangle?

Then place the text block holding the 'a' in addition to the triangle. Cut, select the triangle and use the command "paste inside".

Put the gradient (I used the first transparency plan) under the text layer.

In order to clarify the procedure:

    1. Add a layer above the image.
    2. Choose the foreground color (I've tasted blue markers in the foreground).
    3. Select the gradient tool.
    4. Look in the foreground to the transparency of the Options bar.
    5. Place the tool gradient at the bottom of the image and move about a third of the way up.
    6. Add the text on top

No, the code is exactly the same except instead of changing the property y of a textfield object, you change the property y of a movieclip (which contains an image of the text your want to display).

  • How to make a text box appear in a PDF file in InDesign CC when the cursor rolls over another area of text?

I'm doing a text box appears in a PDF document in InDesign when the cursor of the user hovers over an another textbox, and I want it to disappear when the cursor moves off the coast of the first text box. I tried the following with adjustment of various, and it does everything just for me.

Display a different button on turnover

You can create a hotspot in which clicking or mousing over an object contains another object. To do this, create two buttons, hide one of the buttons and use the show/hide button action to show and hide the button target.

    • Create an object to use as the "source" button. In the buttons Panel, click the icon of the object to convert to A button.

    • Place the image you want to use as the button target and convert it to a button.

    • Select the target image and select hidden until this that triggered at the bottom of the Panel buttons.

The image must be hidden in the exported document that can be displayed when the "source" button is clicked or wriggle on.

    • Click the source button and create two different actions, one for show the image target and target the other to hide the image.

If you want the image to appear when the mouse is over the button source, use events on Roll Over and On Roll Off. If you want the image to appear when you click on the source button and disappear when you release, use events on a click and release. In both cases, use the show/hide action buttons to show or hide the target button. See the interactive buttons.

    • Use the Preview Panel to test the buttons.

  • How to remove the text box enclosing white

    Hello

I am a student in multimedia and need to create a portfolio manager and would like to know how to remove the white text box when writing text? Already, I have a background and would like to have white on bakground or plain black writing, don't want the white bounding box. How can I remove that?

This depends really on what type of Member of text that you used, but in general, you should select the sprite on the stage, then go to the Sprite of the property inspector tab.  Find the ink setting and change into Transparent or Matt.
