  Thanks philipp. I just spent two hours trying to understand this point, check all my settings, uninstalling software from reading that I thought may be trying to take, etc. I even did a system restore trying to solve this problem.   Recently, I put an audiobook that I had ripped the CD library in mp3 files, on my Sansa Clip.  I started listening to the audio book and when I arrived at the end of the first file (disk 1), he stopped.  When I looked the player, I didn't know the other six files of mp3 for the audio book.  I thought that maybe I had transferred somehow only the first file, but when I'm home and connected the video to my computer, he showed that all 7 files were indeed on the player.  I was able to work around this problem by removing the first part that I had listened to.  A single file on the drive has the mp3 disc 2.  When I finished listening to it, I deleted and is passed to the next.  This isn't just right.  All other audiobook that I listened to shows all the parts and I can hear seamlessly a part to another.  Someone has any suggestions as to why this is happening and any fix for it?  Thank you!

  I found a solution, even if I have no idea why it makes a difference.  I had originally put the mp3 files in a subfolder of audio books.  I am proposing to a subfolder of the music.  Now, all the remaining mp3 files of the audiobook show on the player and can be listened in order when I select 'Play All'.

  You need an app for that. Windows will not Vobs post them together and then do a full dvd.

  PlayStation plays everything just the way it is. It comes to be able to play on the xbox... xbox is quite fussy about what he likes to listen to, you can stream xvid, divx and wmv files and that's it. I think that there are also programs that will take the Vobs and compiles them into a somesort avi file which will be playable on the xbox.

  As for this program, I don't know, when I want to do things like that I usually google what I'm trying to make, download the demo of some app, if it works, then I'll buy it, its usually only $ 10 or more. Also check sourceforge.

  an .asx file is not a media file. It is a file that contains a pointer to a content online. So if you are unable to read a .asx file and are able to play other files using Windows Media Player so the best thing is to open the .asx, a Notepad file. When you open the .asx using Notepad, you will see a link that starts by http: and so on. Please copy this link and go to Windows Media Player. On the Windows Media Player window, press the Alt key on the keyboard and click file and Open url. Paste the link and check if Windows Media Player is able to open the link. If she opens the link this is a problem with the formatting of the .asx file and if it does not open the link then it is a problem with the server online of the .asx file. It could be that it is deleted from the server.

  I couldn't change the settings of Firefox in this way, that it does not play mp3 files at all (in any kind of player), but allows to decide what with them for example to download the file.

  - changed especially all mp3-related options to download
  - deactivated ALL plugins and addons

  - uninstalled ALL types of mediaplayers (Winamp, VLC etc.), but not WMP because it would be very complicated and would cause several bugs
  

  Many updates before (I think it's up to 20 FF or if) you could simply tell FF, I tried to download the file via the settings and now it isn't.

  Is it possible to left I can force Firefox to NOT READ mp3 files in any player and offer my the possibility to download?

  Please do NOT give answers like:

  - right click on the file and save it as ... I allready know that and do not want to use that solution. A few years before it was possible, so it should also be possible to directly click at the file and decide what to do with it.
