  Depending on the printer you use, it should work almost in the same way for both printing on paper or CD.  The only major difference will be support for type and where you insert it into your printer.

  Hi, William! I don't know if you have found the answer to your question, but I was wondering the same thing! On a few occasions that I need to print on legal size paper, I just pulled out of the lower papertray, put a sheet or two of legal on sheets of letter size and closed above the status bar with a "paper tail" comes out. It seems ridiculous, but it works. However, after seeing your post, that I pulled the paper tray, removed the paper and inspected the Board more closely. And here! -with the paper, if you look inside the status bar to the left, you will see a button plastic "depressable" adjacent to an arrow with a label "LGL". It takes a little slight of hand, but if you press this button and pull the front of the tray, he slips in a new position locked - extending the extra 3 "necessary for legal communication and revealing a new relaxation"LGL"for paper length setting!   This looks like a problem with your printer, not Microsoft Windows. Try the following:

  -Remove the ink cartridge and check it for damage. Replace if necessary.

  -Try to use a new cartridge; the contacts on the old can be damaged.

  -Maybe your paper is too thin or absorbent. Try a different paper brand.

  -If no other solution doesn't work, the problem is probably the printer itself. You may need to replace it. (You don't need to do unless nothing else works)

  the original size is different from the print size.

  You may need to crop photos to the size you want
  print to ensure that no clipping will occur. Cropping
  to a different aspect ratio will lose some parts of the picture but
  at least you have control over it.
