  Hi Pooja,

  How is your form interactive PDF is created (LC Designer or Acrobat X). If you have used LC Designer, then you cannot merge the page, the only option is to create a new page in the designer, and then copy and paste the content.

  If you've used acrobat to create the form and then easily merge you PDF files to help combine functionality in Acrobat. (File > create > combine files)

  When I click that button, I call a method in backing bean that calculate a string that is HTML. I want to make this HTML as a new page in the same window of the browser as a result button click.

  You can convert the calling method in a servlet - your ADF page calls the servlet that returns the HTML code - this may be as a separate page using an af:goLink to call the servlet or it can be included in an af:inlineFrame in your page.

  Another option is to return the HTML string as the value for an af:outputText and the attribute of the escape of this element the value false.

  Note that since you are using "LocationOptions.AT_END", you don't have to use a reference to any page. This is only necessary when you want to insert a page anywhere except at the end or the beginning.

  But I don't think that solv your problem.

  You must print alignment and another test for correct print quality problems.

• How to create an interactive PDF with variable data

  We basically have a "mail merge" to our list of customers with an interactive PDF file (including videos, menus, etc. - not only form fill and web links) to create a single PDF that contains several pieces of mail... one for each customer... with each total mail being customized for this customer.  Customizations would include different greetings (Bob dear, dear Dana, etc), as well as the different graphs based on unique data to the client, photographs, etc.

  I saw that InDesign and Acrobat Professional can be used to create an interactive PDF (such as http://tv.adobe.com/watch/ask-the-adobe-ones/14-calling-rufus-about-interactive-pdf-making).  But I don't understand how I can insert data into a database, csv, excel etc. in the PDF file file so that each page, or each set of pages in the PDF file can be customized.

  Can someone tell me a tool to use for this?

  I'm new on this and didn't know InDesign could do a data merge, thank you for pointing that out.

  However, we currently produce hundreds of thousands of personalized daily electronic documents, a PDF file or Web user interaction (no, this isn't spam or junk mail).  Our customers have asked us to focus on the generation of personalized interactive PDFs and I fear that the volume could overwhelm InDesign.  My other concern is that all of our work performed automatically (we run hundreds every day) and it is not possible to have a person to sit down, then run InDesign manually for each job.  Our standard operating system need a certain version of unix (AIX or linux), although we can perform tasks under windows if necessary.  It seems, as InDesign will fit in this environment?  If not, is there something else out there?

  I have use the class Web page, but the documentation, it seems you should subscribe to the loadingChanged signal and wait for the download to complete. The download can begin asynchronously so loading() might return false immediately after the definition of the URL.

  I would like to know if it is possible to remove a group from a page in pdf format which contains a specific property.

  The main pdf document contains more than 100 pages. On some pages, there is a property text as 'DoNotPrint'.

  At first, I tried to convert it to XML format, this pdf file, to get a parent / child structure... and if I'm picking the attribute of a child node I could delete the parent node (and then the whole page).

  This pdf file is full of graphicals diagrams... so this solution will not work.

  That's why I try to work directly on the pdf file.

  Could you tell me if it is possible? I see that it is possible to remove a range of page, but I could do with my condition?

I created the home page, and I'm now trying to make the other. But I don't know how I can take the basic layout, I created in the homepage so I can add information for other pages later. I tried to save as a template, but I had to create editable regions and those got in the way. I even tried to copy the code from the original, but then the Spry menus will not work correctly.
