• Lightroom Mobile does not recognize my custom sort order

  I can't find a way to get the Mobile with Lightroom app on my iPad to recognize the custom sort order in place for collection on my desk. I'm on the latest version of Lightroom and Lightroom Mobile. The only sorting option that appears in LR mobile is by capture time. The custom sort order is available for collection on the Abobe website, but not on the mobile application.

  You can change the type of sort when you touch the Capture plate. Tab so on time "capture" - label and you will see other sorting options as 'Date modified', 'command' etc.

  I work with a collection that contains subfolders, so I selected all the images, then tried to create a new collection. But when I click on the file, I see a choice for a new catalog, but not a 'new Collection '. There is a choice to "save quick Collection.» But when I choose that option, I get an empty folder with the name I have given.

  So, how to create a collection?

  P.S. I noticed I have a lot of empty folders. Is this OK to delete all the? I imported a folder full of subfolders of images, and I'm guessing that subfolders are imported, but the images have been taken out of them.

• Cannot sync picture added to the collection on Lightroom Mobile iOS 2.4 (with the last RAW support)

  I have the following timing problem:

  1. I created the new collection of event using Lightroom Office and added some photos to my DSL
  2. And then synchronize this collection with my last Lightroom 2.4 Mobile iOS (last with RAW support)
  3. Using LR Mobile has added some photos to the additional event captured by my iPhone to the same previously synchronized collection
  4. It seemed that everything worked ok... the new picture has been added to the collection on LR Mobile, it is also visible in LR Web... but
  5. ... when I run Desktop LR he tries to synchronize this 1 photo indefinitely... it never stops and my LR Office is the synchronization...... synchronization synchronization... showing 'Sync 1 photo.

  When I create new collection of my Mobile LR (and the first step in office), then add picture... then everything works well... but it isn't I wish I had. The ideal situation is when I normally treat most of the photos of the event, coming for example from my DSLR and then could be added to the collection even some additional shots of the iPhone directly in LR Mobile so it could appear in LR Desktop collection with photos DSLR.

  Any help will be much appreciated.

  Have you double checked the status of clouds within the application Mobile of Lr. are still pending downloads listed. If so, the County gets down when you have Lr Mobile running for a few minutes in the foreground? -Guido

  I searched for an hour, but I'm trying to find the answer to what I think is a simple question: How do I share a collection of Lightroom CC between to my MacBook?

  I keep one at home and one for on the go. Sometimes I want to work on an image that I started on one computer to the other computer.  Both are signed in the creative cloud.

• Synchronization of a custom sort order Mobile on desktop?

  I did extensive research on this, and that it is always possible to miss something, I can't find anything specific about knowledge if a custom from mobile sort order can be synchronized to the source office collection. Does anyone have experience with this, or a pointer to some clarifying Info? Synchronize my changes per image, so I know communication happening. I don't know if there is a hidden menu item or a checkbox of some sort that I'm missing. The mobile and desktop are in mode 'command. Maybe it's a one-way street?

  Tap with two fingers. If you use two fingers to type the grid - whenever you type, it passes to the next metadata until you set it to none.

  I suggest that you return to the collections view, press Lr icon and tap reset overlays help. This will display reminders of the art for a period.

  Hi, I just bought LR CC after being on Lightroom Office only for about a year. When I arrived at the office, I had tested LR Mobile as well. It turns out that I have a few old photos in LR Mobile (that I can see also online) and a few old videos. Download thumbnails of the pictures is no problem and I understand that I will never get the file size of this way.

  I can't download videos. They do not play online but I don't see any way to download. Any help would be great as there are a some short of my children I want to keep.

  While I don't think you're wrong, I think the user might have a catalog that is already synchronized. The message should indicate the name of the catalog, even though it may be as useless as the value default 'catalogue.lrcat Lightroom"and does not specify the path of the folder. But if this catalogue can be tracked down, the video can already be downloaded.

  Hi RichardSee,

  Open the Collection on Lightroom Mobile, click the arrow in the upper right and select the "move" option and select the images you want to move to other collections. Once you have done by selecting images, click the arrow on the corner of the upper side right and select the collection where you want to move them.

  Does anyone know how to reach the sharpness using Lightroom Mobile for iOS? It seems like a basic editing tool is missing? It is strange that it is available on Photoshop Express but not Lightroom Mobile.

  The only options seem to be using the preset detailed, which seems to be the same clarity and by the addition of noise, but they don't allow you to select low, medium or high which is very limited.

  what you can do is to pull up the local radial correction with no softness of edge on your entire photo. There, you have access to sharpness and even sound and memory.

  It does not provide the full functionality such as hiding, but it's a start.

I have hundreds of collections, and they are organized into 'games in the collection' (not in smart collections) to keep things simple. So apple is not able to waive the restriction to sync subfolders, I was looking for a solution alternative sync and hoping that mobile lightroom would save me...

  My simple goal is to synchronize a subfolder structure that I do not have hundreds of collections or folders on the same plane.

  • Are there plans to improve lightroom / lightroom on mobile with a feature?

  Why isn't able to sync a Smart Album with Lightroom Mobile with Lightroom. I wish I had some photos on my I phone. The best way for me would be to mark photos for example with the iPhone, family, 5 stars.

  A smart album, I'd be able to have all the photos with the www.lesormes.com mentioned above on my iPhone without manually moving the new fotos from my normal album.
