  Previously, I had no problem simply using Adobe Audition 3 for simple recording and editing of a stereo stereo power not from mixer... well almost no problem... :-)

  Today, I'm having a bad day, or maybe it's because I'm used to be retired... :-)...

  Query: How can I put two mono tracks in the usual stereo display in Edit so they both display correctly there?

  • Put simply, I have two mono wav files. Let's call them Left_wav and Right_wav.
  • I can't seem to get imported into a new clean Edit (Normal stereo track route) view that Left_wav is half top and Right_wav is on the bottom half.
  • Whenever I try, I just get either Left_wav or Right_wav taking up the whole of the edit view. that is, it shows just a track.

  Anyone who is familiar with hearing 3 help kindly can? I'd appreciate a simple step-by-step... I can't see where I'm going wrong, and it's driving me bananas :-).

  There are different ways to do the Audition 3. Here is one.

  Open two mono files separately in the edit mode. Then convert Left_wav in stereo by going to the types of samples to change/convert then under stereo channels with Mix of 100% left and right 0% mixture. This will give you a new stereo file with Left_wav on the top channel. Then go to the Right_wav and copy it to the Clipboard using edit/copy. Return to your new stereo file and activate right channel change only in the right channel Edit Channel/edit/change. Then make sure that the cursor is at the beginning of the stereo file and paste Right_wav into the channel at the bottom of the new stereo file. Finally, save as.

  @markerline - this has nothing to do with InDesign.

  @Maesumi - you can send multimedia orders links and buttons in a PDF file. These include the ability to play, stop and rewind video annotations.

  Add two videos for the PDF using Acrobat Pro, and then create a button. Click on 'all properties' button 'actions' tab, choose "mouse up" and "multimedia operation Acrobat 9 and later versions. Click Add, and then select the first video and the operation to perform. The closure of the pop-up window, press Add and select the other video, more of the same operation. This stack two actions on the button. Repeat the process to create buttons play, stop, etc. According to your needs.

  The same thing can be done with a link, by choosing the type of "personal" link to open the dialog box actions.

  Note that with the widget video by default, you cannot bind controls playback bar in videos. This is only possible with a custom widget and some scripts.

I'm writing a few vi to display and write data to Mdsplus.  I downloaded Mdsplus(labview) can discover Mdsplus functions, like mdsconnect, mdsput, ect, in vi to call a library function. But I have no ideal how to use it. I tried to use the Mdsconnect function to connect to a machine, but it still gives me an error like: Labview: an exception occurred in the external code that is called by a call library function node...  I was looking for help on the internet documents, but could not find anything useful. Could you please help me with this problem?  If you have examples of these vi, or teach me how it, it would be very useful. I'm using Labview 8 (windows). I would appreciate your help!  Looking forward for your reply.

  You can either use the LabVIEW Database Connectivity Toolkit or LabSQL to communicate with the SQL data bases. Take a look at those and after if you have other questions.

  I have a page with a form region at the top of the page and two regions report below the form region. I'm trying to get regions report to appear side to side directly in the form region.
  
  I tried to define the sequence of the same regions and have a set until the col = 1 and the other to the col = 2 but this puts the third region to report at the top of the page to the right of the form region.

  1 change the region used to keep to the point of the display "Page body 2" model.
  2 - change region of availability in column 2

  database has a table - TABLE1 with columns COL1 and COL2 - two columns also exist on the TABLE2.
  
  When the user enters a value for create or update values TABLE1, before user could save I need to validate the following:
  
  This combination column1 and column2 entry corresponds to a line of TABLE2. (basically, they must exist as a line of TABLE2).
  
  I don't know how to do this with my current version of JDev (10.1.3.4), but I hope that it is possible.

  You can write a validator method at EO level that uses a viewObject with two binding settings to find the specific row in the other table.

  Have you checked your firewall settings?

  JavaScript: Possible, but very limited. Basically, the only thing you can do is simulate the clicking Compare Documents. The rest must be done manually.

  However, it * might * be possible to automate this process a bit more using a plugin. Ask for more at the Acrobat SDK forum for more information...
