  Hi, I'm new in this field and I'm having a problem in the acquisition of data from a RS232 port. In fact, I don't know if it is possible to do.

  What I would do, is to read the voltage difference between the two pins of the port. It's because I want to measure the temperature (and save the data) in a very simple way. I have 6 thermocouples and I thought weld at the different pins of the RS232 interface and acquire analog signals in mV with the computer. Then, I would use a thermometer to calibrate the values.

  Is it possible to do? How? I searched a lot but I can't find any tutorial or similar to this example...

  No, it is not possible to do it with the serial port. The port is not an A/D converter. A simple RS-232 tutorial will tell you that the port is binary in nature.

Another button to replay the beginning at all. My problem is that I am able to replay the slide, but not the video. My slides consists of text animations. I use the new cc animate edge 20141 all slides play from the beginning, but the video does not follow that lead. I also managed to replay the video, but this isn't the desired thing I want. I want that all the compositions of replay when I click on a button. Can anyone help?

  I am able to stream pre-recrorded (VSD) files in flex FLV go the Flash media server.

  Oh and sorry for the double post. I didn't know there was a separate instance of the FMS.

  I use the video display component, but there is no "on-line" property. Try what setting to true. If it still does not work, try to remove the name of the stream of the .flv extension.

  I think the 256 character limit is a red herring.  All data is there, the front-end integrator is truncating only for display purposes.

  Your data is a string, it should certainly be classified as a string in the metadata.  For a long time is for numeric values.

  I don't think there is a problem here, if you were to write this data to the trash or a text file (after reading it in), you will see that your data is not truncated.

  Any ideas? Unfortunately, I don't have an unused channel on the left... .and (as I know) cannot use the interface RS232 of FPGA.

  Hi, this is the correct information. You cannot read the FPGA of DIP-switch status. The only thing you could do is to use the function of Reading Switch.vi located under the range of functions-> real-> utilities RT time

  For a table you can either do:

  (1) myarray [] bool = contextOfTraceMsg.FileGlobals.GetValVariant ("myarray", 0);

  Or

  (2) using GetNumElements() and GetValBooleanByOffset().
