I suggest you to reset the factory default driver and let it automatically set up again on the next business-up system. It is usually the safest way. If you use multiple monitors, try starting with a monitor only, especially if the monitors are not identical. It is a fairly common limitation, since it will force the card to spend a lot more resources generating two separate outputs with different settings...

  What is the operating system of your new computer? 10 Windows and OS X 10.11 have been known to cause problems with older software like CS5. OS X 10.11 El Capitan, in particular can encourage error messages misleading because of its default security settings. To work around this, go to the security in the Apple menu, and on the Security tab and general privacy, change the rocker "Anywhere". When you are finished installing Gatekeeper, reset your preferred 'egi' setting.
