  GOOD GRIEF!  I found my problem! Thanks for your help and advice, I now know what I've done... I did the DVD to backup my FILES (5 DVDs) and after that was done the RECOVERY DVD (3 DISCS), my dad put the 5 file DVD side and thought what we had were the 3 DVD recovery... my moment of panic when I couldn't find a way for files...  SO THERE WE GO, PROBLEM SOLVED! BUT WITH A BETTER KNOWLEDGE OF HOW TO SAVE / SAVE AND RECOVER!

  2. do you just restore the computer to an earlier time by using the system restore feature in Windows XP?

  If you restore the computer to its factory settings, you will then get in touch with the manufacturer of the system for more support options.

  If you had just restored the computer to an earlier time using System Restore, you can undo the system restore to revert back the changes.

  If you synchronize your Contacts via iCloud, the best way to remove duplicates is via the Contacts on your Mac application. The Contacts open, then under the map in the main menu option, select "Look for duplicates. Allows you to remove them quickly, and they must push the info updated for your devices. If she does not push it back, then on your device, go to settings > iCloud and turn off the Contacts and then turn on again.

  I found that my Mac showed a duplicate of almost all contacts, I had. Once I did the above, they are all cleared up.

  • Using the troubleshooting information
  • Click on the button "see the folder.
  • a window opens to display the profile folder.
  • Now close Thunderbird.

  Scroll down to the bottom of the page:

  • abook.MAB is your "personal address book.
  • History.MAB is your "collected addresses".

  These two files can be copy pasted in the same place in your new profile.

  I'm not aware in a direct way, but here's what I did for the other way - from Win Mail to the phone.

  • If you do not already have a Gmail account, create one (it's just a temporary tool for this process).
  • Configure the iphone for the gmail account and synchronize it. This should sync your contacts.
  • Since you google.com interface: export your contacts (unfortunately it only supports CSV format).
  • In Thunderbird, import your contacts

  If you need help importing your contacts, I have step by step instructions I can give you.
