  iTunes is not aware of what you delete everything on your iPad.  If you have turned on automatic downloads, iTunes will download your purchases to the computer regardless of what is happening on your iPad. However, you can disable this option in the preferences to store.

Because the files aren't there metadata cannot be undated. As I can't delete the smart collection Lightroom database files. I was not able to find a way to access the folder Lightroom files except through the above mentioned smart collection.
