  • How to remove the default iTunes genres in the most recent version?

I've just updated to version 12.3.2.35 today and the localizable.strings file is not the same aspect it was.  There used to be just a bunch of channels, where I would like to delete those contained in the / * = Genres = * /, / * = kinds reduced = * / and / * = with Genres = * / categories.  However, the localizable.strings file looks like now as if it was some kind of compiled code or something and I can't seem to find where again to remove the default iTunes genres.  I don't really want to have a bunch of useless genres in my drop-down menus.  Does anyone know how to remove the default types?

Looks like they changed to a binary file format, perhaps because changes to the file may affect the use of music Apple... which is unfortunate for those of us who do not use Apple music and wants to restrict the list of available types.  It can still be an alternative workaround, but certainly worth of reports via the iTunes of Apple Feedbackpage.

  • How to reduce hiberfil.sys file size

I want to reduce my default hiberfil.sys 75 to 50%.
I am following the directions proposed in this document from Microsoft:
I am logged in as an administrator and run the elevated command prompt, and I see C:\Windows\system32 >
    I type C:\>PowerCfg.exe HIBERNATE/Size 50
    I get access denied.
    I also tried this approach:
I am logged in as an administrator and run the elevated command prompt, and I see C:\Windows\system32 >
    I type Powercfg-h-50 or Powercfg-h 50
I get State of Hibernation must be 'on' or 'off'.

I tried to set UAC to zero. In this case I get hibernation is not recognized as internal or external, command an executable program or batch file.
Could someone help me please. What I'm missing?

Corresponds to the 450 GB external disk drive?

Hiberfil.sys is by far the biggest piece on my drive.

It seems to me that this statement made by you earlier could well be incorrect. I suspect that WinDirStat is not the size of the System Volume Information folder and if you added the reported space used for reported free disk space, you would discover that it is notably smaller than the size of the SSD. The difference is largely the space occupied by the System Volume Information folder.

To determine the size of the folder System Volume Information in select start Windows 7, Control Panel, system, System Protection, click Configure under Protection settings. What is the figure of the current use? Often, this figure changes every day and can fluctuate up and down by significant amounts.

You will be able to temporarily increase the amount of free space on the disk by removing the redundant system restore points, but the longer term solution lies in moving your SSD for your second disc records. If your second drive is external drives which limits what you can move. For example, you can move a swap file on a drive internal shipment but not on an external drive.

Select Start, all programs, accessories, System Tools, cleaning disk to emptying your trash, delete temporary Internet files and other selected options. I recommend also you click Other Options, System Restore and delete all but the last system restore point.

A better program of disk cleanup is cCleaner. Delete System Restore points may be important if you have little free disk space. The ability to delete them is one of the tools options. You can selectively remove those created in less important moments.

cCleaner also comes with a registry tool. Do not use this tool as any registry cleaner could lead to the creation of very difficult to resolve system errors.

  • How to change the default (Windows 7) painting 'Save as type' JPG (from PNG) format when recording using the * only * the keyboard?

This is the 2nd time this same question, the 1st time that I was given an irrelevant answer which was not helpful at all. Please take the time to read and understand what I need to before you answer.

I just need to learn how to change the default PNG to JPG, so every time I save a screenshot using (only) the keyboard, it will already be showing JPG as the "Save as type". I am sure that it requires an edit registry so just point me in the right direction and guide me on how to do it, that's all I need.

To help you understand my dilemma, I take a lot of screenshots and Ctrl + V paste in Paint almost daily. Since my physical disability in my arms causing me pain and discomfort when I use the mouse, I avoid using the mouse I use the shortcuts as much as possible to help reduce the constant pain, I'm still in my right arm when using the mouse. I hope I have explained well enough details.

If it's in the wrong place, please move to a better place.

    Thank you

    Lee

I don't know of any registry value, but you can use the key sequence to "Save as jpg.

    ALT

    F

    V

    J

The F key may be pressed simultaneously with the ALT key or after him.

You can reduce the number of keys to just ALT plus a digital key by using the following, adapted from one method described HERE.   Setup is much easier with a mouse, but can be done using the keyboard only.  I showed you the controls and mouse shortcuts keyboard to add an icon "" Save as JPG"to the Quick Access toolbar.

    Open Paint

    Mouse Keyboard equivalent
Click on the file Menu (upper-left) Press ALT + F to open the file Menu
Hover mouse on ' Save as ' to open the list of file types Press V to view the list of file types
Right click on JPG to open the context menu Use the TAB or down arrow key to select JPG and then press SHIFT + F10 to open the context menu
Click "add to quick access toolbar. Press A to "add to the Quick Access toolbar.

At this point, your installation is complete.

With open Paint, press the ALT key .  This will display the keys associated with various actions.  In my case, "" Save as JPG"icon that has been added to the Quick Access toolbar was the fifth icon (after save, undo, redo and print).  So, to "Save as JPG," I would press ALT+5 (even once, you can press 5 either with or after you press the ALT key).

  • How to change the default value of MS Paint record - an output to jpg for shortcuts KEYBOARD: Alt-F-A (or S)?

I've seen a lot of posts on this subject here, but they are all on the use of the mouse and I did not yet find one with an answer to MY specific dilemma.

I take screenshots and edit photos (Nothing fancy) almost every day. Given that my physical disability in my arms causing me pain and discomfort when I use the mouse, I need to use several shortcuts as humanly possible help reduce the constant pain, I'm still in my right arm using the mouse.

I *need* to know how to change the default hotkey Alt-F-A (or S) to save it as a JPG file relative to the current default value PNG which I use never, never. If it requires editing the registry, no problem, just point me in the right direction and guide me on how to do it.

    Thank you

By default installation PSCC and bridge all file types associations should automatically apply the most recent PS (in the case of CC).

You can first try to restart the bridge by pressing option (mac) or control (win) key and choose Reset Preferences.

  • How to reduce the size of the records Quicktime file?

On my Mac, they take as much space as 1 GB for a film record or a screen for 2 minutes.

iPad records take up much less space and are of a higher quality.

The only way to start Firefox in offline mode is through the start of the Profile Manager window.

This window contains a checkbox to start in offline mode.

All other methods via prefs may or may not work reliable and extensions usually do the opposite and are trying to force a boot online.
