How to reduce the volume of D: RECOVERY drive?

My OS is VISTA HOME BASIC.

My D: RECOVERY is almost full with very little OPEN SPACE left - how can I - reduce - there is nothing to remove.

Microsoft sells a disk with VISTA HOME BASIC software where can I download this and where to go?

Hello Allen YX,

Your recovery partition is just a recovery partition there shouldn't be anything on it, but the files used to recover Windows problems. If you save other files on this partition recovery, it is wise to save them elsewhere.

See your user guide for the PC (or quick guide) for an option to create recovery DVDs. A recovery of the DVD set is usually the first thing the manufacturer asks that you do after buying the PC.

If you do not find a way to create a set of recovery disks try to contact the PC manufacturer. They will usually offer recovery DVD. However, they are not cheap.

This forum post is my own opinion and does not necessarily reflect the opinion or the opinion of Microsoft, its employees or other MVPS.

  • How to reduce the volume of alerts in FF when using webmail without lowering the system volume (Mac)?

    I use Mac OS 10.6.8.
When I access my webmail via Firefox, I get a Twitter hard whenever I have send or receive a new email.
I contacted my ISP (Optimum) and they said tell Firefox to my computer to make the sound. They say that they have no control over it.
I tried to reduce the volume of alerts in my system prefs, but it has not affected the volume of FF.

How reduce or disable volume in FF when using webmail without lowering system volume?

Thank you!!! The 'sound' button off in their preferences. Fixed. (It was so freakin ' fort!)

I, in turn, chatted with Service to customer of Optimum and tells them that they must tell their supervisor to better educate their own service to the customer, instead of passing the ball. We'll see.

  • How to reduce the volume of an audio clip in CC animate to HTML5 output?

I'm working on a presentation of 2 minutes in CC to animate. There is a voiceover track and a piece of background music, both playing for the entire animation sequence. I'm trying to reduce the level of the volume of the music track that the voice-over track is the center of attention. Unfortunately, when you select the piece of music, the Edit function is grey on in the Properties window.

I tried to change the original music track in GarageBand, reduce the overall volume, but when imported into the document, Animate, the volume level seems to be the same as the way it replaced.

What are the options I have to reduce the volume of the music track?

When you import H.264 then animate on top of it, the video does not get exported. You must use something like the first to combine animation with video exported.

For sound, look in the publication settings and adjust sound on Raw, stereo 16-bit, 44.1 KHz for the flow and the sound event.

The noise is in the timeline of your movie, or is he played with the code? If you do anything with the code, worked for how long the entire animation will take in seconds and use it as the length of the export. If it's only the scenario animation, select the option to forward last image.

Try a shorter export, to see if its exports ok.

Once you have your video ready for YouTube, take the file in Adobe Media Encoder and use a high quality H.264 preset and upload this new file.

Put this in a box 1 layer to improve the quality of the video:

    Serge,

    Welcome to the forum.

There are several ways to accomplish the reduction of the Volume in an Audio track or an Audio Clip.

Steve G. mentioned a couple: 'rubberband' in the video and the Audio Mixer Panel Volume. You can also adjust the video Gain. The method used will depend probably on what you want to do and what they are to work with, namely clips, or track Audio integer, with several Clips.

This article of tips & tricks treats most of the methods: http://forums.adobe.com/message/3472343#3472343

Note: some of the Images in this article were made in earlier versions of the GER, therefore the 'look' may be different, but the mechanics are basically the same.

Steve G question will lead you to how best to accomplish this you want and the answer will also lead us, to help you choose this method. His suggestion to use the Volume rubberband is the simplest method and can be used to mitigate full Volume of the Clip, or you can Keyframe the Volume, to alleviate just a part of this Clip.

If you can let us know a little more what you have, where the sound is and exactly what you want to mitigate, a person can be more precise with instructions.

Good luck and let us know a little more, please.

  • How to reduce the volume of output

I hope I can explain my question correctly... IM editing a video on my laptop, the volume on my computer is as low as I can go. I use headphones and the volume is still too strong and starting to hurt my ears are an extended period. Is there a way to simply turn down the volume of production in the body? I don't want to lower the volume or gain of each clip. Thank you

Solution of prejudice will reduce the actual volume of the media, including exports.  From your post, I got the impression you wanted to just turn down the volume when editing.

There is no way to do this in Premiere Pro.  It is made out by the volume of the speaker or the main volume of the computer.  Because this goes all the way up to dumb, it's just not possible that you have the volume turned down and it is still too strong.

    Then it turns more.

  • Re: How to reduce the volume of the alarm?

I have some programs that use the beeper system to report that something has happened.

While in desktop computers the good old ringtone usually has an own speaker beside the case,
for laptops, just like the toshiba, it is common that the sound of the alarm sound is mixed with the regular audio driver and so go out with the normal audio of the headphone jack.

Now, this beep is really STRONG, and mixer windows vista seems to not have a slider for her...

is it possible to change the volume of the ringtone in a different way?

    > have some programs that use the beeper system to report that something has happened.

    1. have you checked if there is an option to turn off the sound signal in the programs?
2 you can turn off the beep at all, as shown below:

the thing is I want to make drive c: only 30 GB and D drive be the rest of the space.

On my Mac, they take as much space as 1 GB for a film record or a screen for 2 minutes.

iPad records take up much less space and are of a higher quality.

Anyone know how to reduce the size of the file, or at least tell me why they use so much space? I have only 128 GB.

A big thank you to you all, good people.

I don't see that you can export out of other than QT. MOV

but you can use an external converter

While it is mainly used to convert video files to DVD it will also convert video files.

To be honest, not sure you can.  To be honest, the only things I can think to do for you is to lower or turn off the sound.

  • How to reduce the brightness of the screen under the standard level

    Hello!

How to reduce the brightness of the screen under the standard level in ThinkPad T520?

I think we can somehow, but I don't know how. I reduced the brightness to zero with the Fn button + button end, but this is not enough, I want to make the screen darker, because my eyes get tired.

The last (from Lenovo) Intel graphics driver is here:
    http://support.Lenovo.com/us/en/downloads/MIGR-77038

This should provide a decent lower limit on the brightness. If the installation complains about the non supported hardware, force the installation using the devices and Disk Manager. (Something like this: http://forums.laptopvideo2go.com/topic/11997-have-disk-method-for-windows-7-vista/ )

If this does not work, try f.lux (https://justgetflux.com/). It has a dimming function software (of course, he loses the contrast).
