  I'm not clear how to save the template as a correct file so that it shows to the top. Is there something I need to change in the code - I used a model Adobe to build the landing page.  Please help as I have to have the page live today. :-/
  

  I guess you do not create a dynamic site and the correct file extension should be index.html.  Do not use the model word here because it has a different meaning in the use of DW.

  index.html file will be shown when someone types your doamin name such as: www.example.com.

  Not sure, what do you mean by executable video file, assume you mean play on a DVD player.

  You create an image file to DVD in iMovie, FCPX etc... This allows the correct coding and the structure files for DVD, s / BDs.

  Be aware that you need a R/W drive mounted/Secretary for the contextual elements appear. If you have a Blu - ray image, you need a BD player. Your file must be less than 4.7 GB for single DVDs faces or ~8.2GB for the DVD DLs. to 100GBs for quad layer BDs.

  I am trying to build an executable file of the example "DS Writer.vi".  The first problem was that the "Control.vi of DataSocket Server" was not distributed with my script compile/install.  I fixed it (thanks Dennis) but now I get the following error message.

  LabVIEW: (Hex 0 x 626) cannot open a VI with compiled code separate in a Run Time Engine that does not have access to the VIObjCache.

  There is a solution to this (http://forums.ni.com/t5/LabVIEW/Getting-LabVIEW-load-error-code-59-using-LabVIEW-2010-with-a-Run/td-...), but it involves change a property of a VI library of DataSocket (if I understand though).  I'm reluctant to make a change to a library OR standard, because it could cause maintenance problems in the future (other developers not having the same change, or updated versions of LabVIEW).

  Has anyone successfully built an executable using DataSocket?  If so, can you offer any advice?  I'm using LabVIEW 2011.

  Thanks Nathan.  I was able to create and deploy an executable with DataSocket.  The last obstacle was to "uncheck the option"Code is compiled separately from the source file"in the properties of the VI" for the "DataSocket Server Control.vi.  The only problem with this solution is that I now have a custom DataSocket library.  I think that a solution would be to copy as VI or library in my project folder so that the solution is transferable to others in the future.  I would like to hear how other developers LabVIEW with custom libraries, either by strictly avoid that, keeping their own copies, or another solution.  But this is probably a topic for a new thread.

I tried to check the same file several times, however first Check-in correctly in server showing revision 1, so that Check-in same file again, her gives no error message, and also its not reflecting only not to the server.   I found a work around for the problem of not being able to run executable files from the Temp folder.
  I came across the complete installation of Firefox download page. I downloaded the full installer and used WinRar to extract the file downloaded to a folder and then I could launch setup.exe and Firefox installed successfully.

• USB-6008 how to move an executable file to another computer.

  Hello Forums NOR!  Please bear with me as I'm new to products OR as well as this forum.  Hope I have write in good advice.  I'm an electronics technician with over 30 years of experience in a variety of hardware and software that is trying to move an executable file from an old computer to Windows XP on a new computer Win 8.

  First of all, I just moved the file .exe itself.   When it is run, it produces an error dialog box: "Unable to locate the LabVIEW run-time engine" "this executable requires a 2011 version (or compatible) LabVIEW Run - Time Engine."

  Then I ran the installation disc driver supplied with the USB-6008 module.  Now, the executable will start but it does not seem to connect with the USB-6008, because it does not have the digital I/o.

  I can run NI MAX and see the USB module as well as test the analog and the digital I/o so I know the hardware works.

  I've been surfing on the knowledge base and found references to .dll & .vi type support files, but have no idea of which ones to get and where they might be.

  This is possible without having to recompile the exe file?  I have no access to the source files.
