  It's almost a moot point. A 32 bit OS has a 4 GB limit to the amount of memory space, it can address. If these addresses are occupied by the RAM or material, the same addresses cannot be used for different things at the same time. All memory addresses beyond 4 GB are inaccessible, so the hardware addresses of the computer are reserved in the 4 GB limit not on. The excess memory beyond 4 GB is not allocated what whatsoever.

  I have a 64 bit OS. Installed memory is 6 GB, reserved hardware is 9 MB, the rest is all usable RAM. The video card has 1 GB on this issue and does not appear in the stats.

  Now, I closed "Adobe Application Manager" and reopened "Photoshop" and again selected "updates... " on the Help menu.  The "Adobe Application Manager" opened again with just a window this time and the updates happened correctly.

  I was hoping a updates would be the "Adobe Application Manager", I don't think so.

  So, if I were you I would not select "Updates."... "in an Adobe application unless the " Adobe Application Manager " is closed until they fix IT...

  1. Remove all the screws on the bottom.  (Must be 12 total)
  2. Remove the drive from DVD (Yes it does not).
  3. Finally, carefully separate the case around the side.

  After that, you should have full access to the slots of RAM and hard drive.

  I read that this model can take 2 GB max as opposed to the PQF32E which can take 4 GB.

  I have the standard 512 MB installed at the moment and when I open the back I have only a slot for expansion. Should I put a 2 GB upgrade in this slot I can not find a 1.5 GB upgrade or is it possible to delete the original 512 and replace with2 x 1 or 1 x 2 GB.

  The user manual provides information on the possible RAM upgrade and there is also an instruction how to put the RAM in the slots.
  Usually it s not difficult and can be done very quickly.

  View just the words to the subject of the upgrade of RAM max;
  It's material and limited to Intel chipset limitation.
  If you want to know how much RAM is possible then check your type of chipset and visit Intel for chipset details.
  In the datasheet, you can find the specifications of the chipset.
